Actually, you are the he-goat that needs to shut the F*ck up! Which president in the history of this country has appointed all the heads of the security agencies from his region? All the heads of security agencies (except the Navy) are headed by Northern Muslims and you begin to wonder why Fulani herdsmen and bandits are untouchable.

I don't disagree abt him given sensitive position to Northerners but I want u to know that there are more Southerners than Northerners in his entire appointments and why when previous Presidents were in powder and all those positions were in South nobody has ever raised the dust?
That's the question, when southerners were in power similar structure was done and all of them kept quite!

The sensitive positions is where tbe real power is.

That those positions in the Presidency, Executive, Legislature, Judiciary, Security, Finance, etc, is totally in the hands of one section of this country, is what people are calling nepotism ans bigotry. Nobody is a foool you know

This has NEVER happened before in the histroy of the country, from any President from any part of the cojntry.

I dont get why some of you are even arguing this.

how is North parasitic....??

that is a very rude thing to say....

are all northerners politicians....??

Are you also honestly arguing that this Buhari administration has skipped appointments of the main power positions to almost the exclusive preserve of the north?

By tbe way, the north is actually parasitic.
It has been like that since before the independence of Nigeria(with exception of only a short period of time probably). It is the creation of a terrible northern elite class and not necessarily the people of the north. And it is not an insult. It is the TRUTH. It is a truth that you should be ashamed of and disgusted about as a northern youth and not defend. I know that if i was a northerner, it is something i would seriously fight against. It is a weak position and one of tbe reasons northern Nigeria has some of tbe worst socioeconomic parameters any where in the world(poverty rate, unemployment rate, number of children out of school, hunger index, terrorism index, literacy rate, etc).

I make this statement without a single hatred to the north, as you may have seen from my comments on this forum. But I am truly confused as to how educated young northerners can not see it and get disgusted enough to want to change the narrative.

PMB doesn't have any cause in judiciary and legislature because, judiciary's appointment is subject to recommendation of NJC while Legislators seat depend mainly on the party with majority and how the members are spread across the nation. we've 6 zones out of which SE and SS exclude themselves from NASS big positions politically due to the little or no number of their Presence in the caucus expected to lead the arm of the govt. This is the main reason why since NW has President NE got Senate President while speaker goes to SW despite them having VP which should have moved to either SS or SE but political miscalculation failed the structure of the two zones.
I advise u to go back to history and check previous govts appointments before shouting marginalisation.

you know that when Tafawa Balewa was Prime Minister of Nigeria;
Chief of Army Staff was from SE
Chief of Naval Staff was from SE
IG of Police was from SE
Chief of Defence Staff was from SE
Internal Affairs Minister SE
External Affairs Minister SE
Education Minister South SE
Many other key ministries to SE
Parliament President SE
Unilag VC from SE
The University of Ibadan VC from SE
North resisted same at ABU!
Still, there was dissatisfaction by SE, the officers from the region killed this same Balewa!!!!
Out of all the most senior officers in Nigeria, SE has 37, none was killed. 8 from the north, all of them were killed. 10 from the west, 2 were killed.
Then Ironsi imposed a unitary system of government on the country so that everything can belong to a region who snatched it!
We must know our history so that when we want to make corrections, we will not end up concealing the truth. This has nothing to do with tribalism but everything to do with the truth.....at times when lies litter the streets. There is a tendency to think those are truths and facts.

Thou shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.
*“Prof. Ben Nwabueze was the man who drafted the constitution that took away powers from regions and handed it to the central government because his brother Aguiyi Ironsi was the head of state then. Today, he is shouting restructuring that he helped to destroy. We won’t forget.”*.

Even at those times when particular zones did not vote for tbe sitting president, they were never totally excluded from national assembly top seats. For eg, when GEJ won 2011 elections with little support from the NW and NE(who massively voted for Buhari then), the few members of these zones still got positions in NA.

And by the way, the President is key to top appointments in the national assembly. They are political positions shared by the party. And he is the leader of the party and Presidents always has interest in who hold those positions.

By tbe way, it is noted how you did not respond to other areas in that comment. It is telling

The core North u're talking abt gave OBJ the biggest support that made him President. Go and check 2011 election results, there is no single state in the north that didn't give GEJ more than 25% required votes to become President unlike some zones that put all their votes for a single party.
In the North we used to vote for PMB for successive elections from 2003-2019 but we have been so logical in our voting system because if u go back to history you'll see that our House of Reps and Senators of those days are mostly from PDP.
Realistically, NASS, judiciary and executives are different arms of govt and history has shown that in different occasions where they go different ways.
