When it comes to materials management, they're not expert in that.

Once they see those white POP cement bags available on site, they get the courage to work and come back to you when they're low on supply.

From the images you posted, two things I noticed.

1. It's a remodeling, hence they're being careful not to mess up the walls/floors

2. They're not use full scaffolding as platform to get to the ceiling.

These two factors are responsible for the neatness of your job as shown in the image

You’re not far from the truth!

Start plastering and other finishing and house will be completed after 4-5 years. That's Kobo Kobo house grin

It's different from money that's on ground that you just go and pull out for the project non-stop .

We the poor Kobo house owners frawns at this your post. We know ourselves make you rich people no come dey take our place grin
Lol.

One of the things that helped us was the lockdown that lasted between March 31st to 4th May, 2020.

The guys that did the piling camped themselves at the site and continued working.

We had 23 pile points to bore, which was done in 20 days.

The span was 15/04/20 to 10th May, 2020

Scrap the licensed by SON and FG talk. means nothing.

It's not about setting up shop in Nigeria, the question is do you deliver quality?
The same backyard manufacturers who produce the shitty qualities we castigate and hate so much can setup shop real easy and brand it made in Nigeria. Yes it's made in Nigeria, but what are you making ? Just saying.

Not to knock them or anything , but Looked them up and doesn't seem to be that much of a "standard manufacturing " going on. Again, just saying

If retailers succeeded in rebagging foreign rice smuggled into Nigeria and claimed same to be local rice, then the regulators are not doing much as expected.

Quality control needs to be worked on

DPR I know always come in when there are claims of adulterated petroleum products in circulation. Hence, we witness sealing of many Gas Stations across the country

When buying tiles, ensure you do the measurements accurately with your tiler and also ensure proper conversion from sqm to cartons and lastly if possible, after agreeing price with supplier, go with your tiler when going for pickup.

I just got swindled of 90+ cartons costing over ₦130,000.

Lesson learned.

I know all tribes in Nigeria have bad people, but we need to be wary of some particular ones.

When I bought cables from them, it's the same thing until I stood my ground.

When I bought conduit pipes from them, it's same thing. They sold fake 20mm at the price of original 20mm Dignity pipes. I stood my ground and returned all pipes

Now it's tiles from Orile.
This criminally minded Patrick Ebere knew what he did, smuggled all the tiles in the truck before my arrival to make U turn to the other side.

Property Development: The Process to Follow for Success

When it comes to developing property, there’s a lot more to buying, improving, and selling property than meets the eye. Most successful property developers follow a process with several common steps, from pre-purchase and concept stage all the way through to completion.

Though the order of these steps may vary between developers, the process of developing property is typically broken up into the following elements:1

The initial idea
Refining that idea
Assessing how feasible the idea is
Contract negotiation
Contract completion
Construction begins
Project completion
Management of that property

You are a peacemaker, but don't you think he himself who has been acting arrogantly should also apologize?

If you know the number of Nigerians that has lost their lives due to tribalism related attacks, you will understand that we should either respect each other or scatter each other.

No need for people to be closet tribalists and still come in here and mix with good people.

Buying from big stores didn’t stop me from using

- Nnamdi to do all my roofing since 2011
- Chibuike to do all the ornamental designs.
- Segbeyon and Paul to handle my carpentary works.

I was only trying to minimize my risk as a contractor hence the reason I am buying direct from manufacturers. I have no issues buying from small shops if they can keep to standard.

It is very wrong to use part to qualify whole.

If someone is scammed by an igbo guy, to come online and say 'all igbos' are this and that is wrong, there is no defense ( in my opinion). Let's call a spade a spade.. what is wrong is wrong!

There are scammers in every tribe, do you think an igbo guy that scammed this guy scammed him because he was not igbo? Do you think a yoruba guy that scammed an igbo guy scammed him because of his tribe? A scammer is a scammer and they look beyond tribe.. all they think is how much they could get from the victim.

Some times this scammers are even in our families.. we have seen this both here in nairaland and offline where someone entrusted a family member to oversee a project for them and the family member end up swindling them, bloating the true project expenses...

We have seen land grabbers, who are land grabbers?? Are they foreigners?? Land grabbers are local to the communities where they operate, do we call the whole village a village of scammers?

Just like 2pac said, he is black doesn't mean he is your brother, he is white doesn't mean he is evil.

Do your due diligence regardless of the tribe of who you are dealing with, even if you are dealing with your own blood, due diligence is still required.

- Superior Insulation
- Better sound absorption (you’ll have to do over 1mm gauge of aluminum or install fiberglass insulation to match this).
- Strength of concrete
- Fire resistant

One of the major drawback of flat roofs in contemporary builds is insulation (heat or sound).

You don’t have to believe. You just need to ask for the address. It’s adjacent COWLSO building in Lekki Scheme II, Lagos.
