bidemialade43:Lol! no scatter house o. On a serious note, nobody owes anyone anything in life. So if your aunt refuse to assist try to do it yourself or get help from other people and let her see you could do it without her(there's a fulfillment that comes with that). |

It's a good thing to ask question. Thats why i am asking. Between university of manitoba and university of new brunswick which would you advise a computer science going for an msc with a 3.59gpa out of 5.0 Nigerian gpa system go for. Manitoba requires a 3.5/4.0(b+) while new brunswick requires 3.0/4.0 (b). Please help me out. Tuituon wise brunswick pays per course tho.. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by OseCode: 3:47pm On Dec 28, 2020 |
Good day guys. I applied for my student visa through an agent as the school I applied to does not deal directly with students from Nigeria. My passport was returned last week Tuesday, asked my agent about LOI and he said that they didn't get any documents after my passport. Please is the LOI optional cos I'm confused. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by lentomac: 3:51pm On Dec 28, 2020 |
OseCode:The LOI - Letter of Introduction is not optional Its one of the documents a Canadian Border Service Officer will ask from you at the Point of Entry before issuing your Study Permit to you. It highly mandatory you get your LOI. If you have access to your GCKEY Profile, login with your username and password and check if you will see it, if you don't, reach out to your agent |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Nobody: 4:05pm On Dec 28, 2020 |
OseCode:In addition to what Lentomac has said earlier, I'll say: if your agent dilly-dallies, please go to the Canadian High Commission (Abuja or Lagos) on January 4th and request for the LOI. It should be issued to you via your GCKEY same day after leaving the Commission. But of course, you'll need your GCKey access codes to be able to access it. So yeah, work together with your agent on this matter. You hardly will be able to enter Canada without it. |

Papapa1234:It can't totally replace it, but it can just be used on a temporary basis in place of the certificate. (I'm using my Statement of Results as proof of MA completion, pending when my school releases our certificates after its commencement ceremony this 2021.) |

Hello Chimzy4real, Your GPA is not up to the required GPA for both schools. If you have money to spare, you can try your luck. Best wishes Chimzy4real: |

Who's gonna pay that? Defintely not me
Windsor sent admission and Tuition per term was equally high. Never heard from Carleton and didn't follow up either.
So we couldn't apply for her Visa as she needed to be home for biometrics.
I didn't add my PR card as proof of relationship for this reason. I used my Passport instead. No further ADR was requested so I guess that was okay.
GCMS was delivered Oct 9th (exactly a month later) No much details on the notes except "Elig Passed. Pending Biometics".
We sent passport the next day to VFS Lagos thru DHL. Included return label (which they never used, they claimed they couldn't find it)
