Rivers State Governor , Nyesom Wike , has ordered a clampdown on illegal motor parks, mechanic shops and street trading across the State with effect from January 4 .
Wike, who gave the order in his New Year broadcast to people of the State on Thursday , also frown on the erection of kiosks along the streets and other public places.

“ Apart from constituting public nuisance , these activities and structures obstruct traffic flow and pose serious threats to public safety and security to the extent no responsible government can tolerate .

“ With the grace period over therefore , we have no other option than to order immediate clampdown and put a final stop to these illegal operations from the 4 th of January 2021 , ” he declared.

The tables disappear when the trader is done for the day. In other words, they are not permanent stalls that someone leaves goods inside to travel. Same with illegal motor parks. They leave the parks to load on the road causing needless traffic.
I believe these are the targets, and they don't need 1 month notice either cos they are mobile and pack up their goods at the end of each trading/driving day
