Job Role: Internal Auditor/Compliance Manager
Experience: Asset Management Company
Location: Lagos
Salary : 10 million annual gross minimum

Responsibilities:
. Develop, implement, and maintain internal audit policies, procedures, and methodologies aligned
with regulatory requirements and best practices.
. Conduct periodic audits and risk assessments of all operational areas to evaluate the adequacy
and effectiveness of internal controls.
. Monitor compliance with Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) regulations, Anti-Money Laundering
(AML) laws, and internal policies.
. Review and verify the integrity of financial transactions, ensuring proper documentation and
adherence to Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
. Investigate control breaches, operational irregularities, and suspected fraud cases, liaising with
law enforcement agencies as necessary.
. Conduct spot checks and surprise audits on transaction activities and operational processes.
. Prepare timely, accurate, and objective audit and compliance reports for management, the Board
Audit Committee, and regulatory bodies.
. Advise management on risk management, control improvements, and compliance
enhancements.
. Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning exercises.
. Ensure all audit queries and compliance issues are promptly investigated and resolved.
. Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
. Serve on committees or cross-functional teams as assigned by the Managing Director or Board.

Requirements:
. Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or related
field.
Experience: 5-7 years experiences as an Internal Auditor/ with Financial services
. Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), or
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) are advantageous.
. Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit software tools.
