In most parts of the North, there are lesser percentages of educated people and many are still illiterates, so the stigmatization against single mothers is less pronouced.

Let's assume most girls start having sex by 18yrs, this means they would have had sex for seven years by the age of 25 ys.
It's difficult for normal ladies not to get pregnant after 7 years of sexual exposure.

1) The male partners and not the female is the determine factor in the usage of condom, more especially when multiple male partners will be involved over a period of 7 years.

2) Women too want to enjoy the real sex (without condom) and when a lady has experienced the enjoyment of raw sex, the temptation to repeat it becomes almost irresistible.

Single moms relationship is not for every man. Personally, I avoid them like a plaque and would rather keep my distance and not have anything whatsoever to do with them. My wife was a single mom when we gad first met. We have been married for 14 years and we have 6 kids(including the one she had out of wedlock).

The experience has been very good for me.
Personally, I don't see anything wrong with marrying a single mother given that I love children .
