Avoid Nigeria if you live abroad. this is not a country, as long as Hausa are still roaming around in power, expect illegality over the Covid 19 for which they cook up numbers to get money from international communities. Avoid Nigeria. This is simply an illegal act but it is o ly committed in Nigeria

This government is not serious. The owners of those passport can declare it missing and do a new passport. The number will change. Why don't they use names instead of numbers.
Nigeria my country.

Trust me, the Nigeria nation I know, may have included the passport number of some innocent Nigerians. Please check your passport number and make sure your name and that of your family members are not listed there. During this covid19, Nigeria is aimlessly doing things to show the world that they are taking precautions. Meanwhile, the world know that Nigeria has no standard covid19 measurement. The leaders continue to deceive themselves.

Is this coming with the approval from NSA? Because they don't have that power to flag down any passenger from travelling.

Sometimes I think a lot of Nigerians live in a Fool's Paradise. Does the PTF really think returnees undergo this tests?

A friend came in from the UK yesterday. Paid #5000 and showed them her Travel Certificate front he UK to indicate no traces of Covid was defected in her. That #5000 was her gatepass.

If only these 100 defaulters had agreed to pay they wouldn't be in this mess. Maybe their crime was refusing to pay afterall.
They are talking about the second 7 days after arrival test not the test you take before boarding. No airline will even carry you to Nigeria without a negative Covid test.

Avoid Nigeria indeed. All the airlines KLM, Air France, British, Delta etc are all filled to the brim this holiday period with the volume of Nigerians coming home.

The Ban should be on the PTF Chairman and all its members, for selling fake Covid-19 results, for collecting the Covid-19 #52,000+ Test Fee from inbound passengers and not doing any test for them.
Thunder fire all of una.

BTW: All these 100 people need to do is to drive into Cotonou or Ghana or Cameroun and fly to their destination from there.
PTF can keep doing their shakara at Nigerian Airports or did they give the list to the FBI? grin grin

Even when there was a complete lockdown and the Air Space was closed, this same PTF was busy 'Selling Slots for Special Permission to fly' and the aircrafts were always filled with people who are also paying hefty amount to break the No Fly Rule.

Now they want to impress the intelligent outside world that they are doing something?
Abeg, l cant laugh in Chinese. grin grin

BTW: Has Mamman Daura returned from his Covid-19 treatment in the UK?,
l hope he is well because we have not heard pim from him or his neighbours since he travelled. I dont want this New, UK strain to meet him over there otherwise, na kpeme be dat o, if l am not speaking in past tense sef.

This is correct. Traveled to Nigeria in November on Delta. Not much hassle. Just showed the Negative Covid-19 test taken within 5 days of travel date, It was needed for check-in at both departing airport, and at the connecting airport(Atlanta). Before travel date, I uploaded my test results to the Naija Immigration portal, paid for the Naija test, and I received an email with the QR code. I was also asked to choose my test center and date for the Naija covid test. And that was all. I received a reminder email and call(on my Naija number) the day before the test. Got to the test center in GRA Ikeja early in the morning. We were the 5th car in line, and we were out of there within 45 mins of when they started testing. Got my test results within 48 hours, as they promised. It was seamless to me.

tot:

For those who followed the process correctly, there was actually no hassle. They travel portal had all the necessary info and even 24 hour customer service. The 7 days was self isolation.

Thanks.

My brother let's learn to follow procedures and do The things right . Do you know the stress involve through those places you just mention. You have to get a covid 19 test to travel out from any neighbouring countries airport aswell. And am sure you will have to travel through the land border aswell face the stress of the border immigrations. As far as am concern it's doesn't worth the stress. Nothing compare to travilling out from your country airport This time around . Am talking from experience.

They should have published their names so that when we see them at the airport we will blow the whistle.

I'm in Nigeria as we speak there is 2much hearsay about this.
what website says is this.there are two options
option one pay 39k U get a bar code and an adress plus contact to go do the test within 7 days in 9ja option two fill in dame form and opt to pay in 9ja.(they are meant to call you). Now I opted to pay when I get called.did not get any call.my guy who paid b4 coming had to repay 50k to do the test cos the said address and contact he got wen he paid online said his payment never reached them and that money was void.so wen I want to rtn I'm going to do the test pay 50k then japa.
Precisely, I heard all this aswell. That got me confused. So the best option is to fill in the form online right? Wait for a call before paying and if no calls, still travel and do the test when i get to Nigeria/before returning

What if the test turns negative? Would they stop you from boarding when returning?

Let me know how it went please. Cheers!

Okay, I see, it is just that most times Nigerian Immigrations/customs/consulate websites says something but their staffs does practically different from what the websites says. cheesy I wanted to wait and get live informations from those who actually were sucssesful with their travel to and return from Nigeria.
