Kovacic was one of the worst players on field today

Rodri had a good game bros

Chelsea midfield did nothing

Such a bad day for Chelsea. They even played better against Arsenal compared to what we saw of them today.

Rodri is so light in that midfield that basically anybody bullies him, Pulisic schooled him in the first half he got a reprieve in the second half when Man city dominated possession

He is always guaranteed to lose a 50-50 against a decent midfielder

However, Rodri will dominate with his clever play. Our game relies a lot on build up plays and Rodri brings a lot of movement during build up play which helps us keep possession and strike when spaces are created.

Sad I did not watch the game but the little I saw, he was decent.

Try to focus more on Rodri when we are in possession and controlling the game. You will get to see how good he is.

Rodri in possession is overrated, when was the last time he gave a deeply penetrating pass he just usually passes sideways and he doesn't have the physicality to screen the defence in a case of a counter attack

I think Pep may have overrated his ball playing abilities when he bought him but even at that you have to be physically strong and agile to protect a defence in the EPL

You see those backwards and side passes you talk about, the decisions to make those passes are what makes Rodri a key to the team.

His main job is to enable build up plays which requires combinations with the defenders which are behind or by his sides.

Actually, Rodri has made loads of brilliant long passes this season. That is a big part of his game, especially when we are playing a high pressing side.

Liverpool doesn’t need awoniyi

I will agree with you when his stats will make Klop use him next season

Awoniyi is yet to make Liverpool team so what’s even your point ?

I will eat my words when he makes the team

Now shift grin

Klopp is racist, he has willfully decided to ignore players of Nigerian descent, Awoniyi, Seyi Ojo and Ejaria. Chai, who slapped me there!!!!!!

Very well. I was one of Mikel's steadfast Supporters all through the years. I can bring an archive of comments to prove it.

What I like most about Rodri is that he reminds me a lot about Mikel, although Mikel is a far better player when it comes to tactical awareness.
