Able house, pls I need your support and advise on this. I registered for ielts after submitting my documents because when I joined this thread my eyes became opened to alot of things especially when I saw people getting a request to do NSE. So NSE came for me and luckily IELTS was done about a week b4 d request. Now the challenge is I know my score cos its can be seen online but I don't have the hardcopy. I did the regular test not the online test and I have been calling British Council since last Yr ending when results were released bur to no avail. So since 4th(monday), I have been engaging them on discussions on how to get this document so I can upload for the NSE, they keep telling me it has not been dispatched and my deadline is very close. Pls what do u advise I do?

If the person providing the SOA is your relative and sponsor, then no need for student to provide account.
The caveat is that the sponsor’s SOA must cover tuition and living expense for one year and should show (personally I suggest over) 5m as balance.

Thank you for your response. Yes she is my relative but she is a citizen of the USA.

Hello Englois,

You can use it. However, ensure every details like the TRF number, Date, Details of the Testing Body and whatnots on your profile to be clearly visible.

The test result is always subject to verification whether or not is the hard or soft copy.

Best of Luck

@Silvamania @lentomac

For courses that involve direct patient care, they usually require either CPR + AED certificate, first aid or a combination. But it will be stated clearly in the admission requirements.

lentomac:

Okay

I don't know if all Health Science programs requires a Certification, by the way, aside the persons degree as a criteria for admission, he/she can visit the program website of the schools and check if a Certification as an Admission Requirement is needed to apply for this programs.

Alternatively he/she should mail the Program Coordinator or international dept. of that school for more enquiries.

From a post made by Chocs, I noticed she's a medical doctor, She might be able to help you on this based on her Medical/Health Line experience

You may not get a well suited answer here. You will also have to do your homework on Google. Write down schools you are interested in and check out each school's requirements. I know it's not easy but it will pay off in the long run. Just dedicate like a day for this. It will surely end in praise

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by NSE19: 8:53am On Jan 06, 2021
Hi, so from my understanding, there is a 16,000cad funding but it's not awarded to anyone until after admission decision has been made and then it is awarded to the top applicant based on research and grades.

So I am guessing for the application, you need to list a supervisor...so he has given you the go ahead to list him as your supervisor but everything boils down to the competitiveness of the applicants in the application pool.

I'd advise you go ahead, put your best foot forward in your application and pray for the best.

Finally, if given the 16,000cad funding, he has explained that that's not enough to cover your tuition for the program. So you'd still need to either apply for more funding through the school or from your pocket.

All the best!

Asusino:
I finally got a nod from a Supervisor to apply for admission after waiting for a whole year. I have reading the mail attached over and over again. I understand I am supposed to now apply for admission but the funding is what I can't really grab. Can anyone explain further? Thanks.

Hello,

1. Have any one on this platform applied to the postgraduate Diploma in mechanical engineering at University of Saskatchewan. Do i need a supervisor before applying to this program?

2. Which schools (university or College) offer postgraduate Diploma or certificate in mechanical engineering or related programs please help a brother.
Thank you in anticipation of your response.

Hi there,

It might be a bit difficult to recommend a course for you because I'm not in this line.

However, your best bet for your sister is a college. Here, you have options
1. She continues in the anatomy/medical line
2. She can "meaningfully" change career and prove why to the VO.

I have come across a program called PRACTICAL NURSING in some colleges.( Unfortunately, I can't remember the names. )

I recommend you patiently go through the list of colleges and programs they have to offer. You'd definitely find something!

I hope this helps!

Hello,
Are you saying that if his tuition for a year is $21k, R & B $10k and other $3k... for a year the. $35k is sufficient POF? What if he is sponsoring himself? Should he show this or double (for 2 years) as POF?

Hello Philadelphia,

Deviating a little away from your question, there is no one required format when filling out the R & B section. However, its good to be extremely cautious so that the figures inputted in the available funds column won't outweigh the closing balance in the BS.

IRCC only requested for a year's tuition & LE and that's what is expected to be inputted in the required column. If the funds is sufficiently available, there is no harm either inputting figures for 2yrs, but with caution.

The "Other" column can as well be left empty or have a little figure inputted depending on the financial strength and the personal circumstances of PA.

The "Available Funds" should be a sum total of each column. If applicable/necessary, an extra amount can be added as an addition, maybe by $1k or 2k. This has been a tradition for me.

Back to your question, the 35k as sum up as the moniker's available funds is sufficient to cover the study cost for a year. Given that the moniker already made a full tuition payment of 21k from the 35k, the closing balance of 29k in the moniker's BA is sufficient enough to outweigh the other 13k (10k & 3k) and still be left with a sufficient balance of 16k.

The 16k will go a long way to count as sufficient for the moniker, as the VO would want to understand that the moniker's source of funds isn't in risk because of the cost of international study. To the best of my knowledge, this is how I understand it.

Best of Luck
