Pls I need someone to help me.
I did my NIN in November 2018 and I was given a white slip at first, and I was told to come back after some time to collect the number. I went and I was given a brown slip with my NIN number,that I would be contacted to come and collect the plastic card when it's ready. I haven't been called since then. Now, I am trying to use the app to link the number I was given but it's saying not correct. I even tried using the code given by MTN to verify my NIN but it's saying the same thing.
Pls what is happening?

I am still amazed, I typed the number I was given, its telling me to check again, can you imagine, the same number that popped up when I dialed that *346# oooo wonderful

it's not working. saying errors after putting my nin number.
Nigeria Government need to do better that this quacks app.

How can one print out his National identity card slip? The app apparently doesn't have provision for that.

It has, not the app itself though, the self service portal. But you can go there through the app.

Step 1: open the Nimc app and click the "I need a pin" icon ( you'd see the link to the portal, it's below everything else)

Step 2: Open the link and then input your user ID and OTP, you'd get the OTP from clicking "I need a pin" button

Step 3: click login and you should be able to download the slip in pdf format, you can print it afterwards and laminate it.

The new nin slip(improved nin slip) is smaller and pocketable. The image is attached below

Note; I don't think the portal is working yet, because I can't seems to login yet.

Terrible reviews on App Store.

Why not? Why won't bank accept it? Probably they haven't integrated the verification API on their systems yet, but I believe they will soon start accepting it if they've not started already.

You can't print the digital id, that's the point of it all... It's meant to be digital, not physical. It can be used in place of the plastic id card.

What you can print is the nin slip. By downloading from self service portal in pdf format and print it in coloured or black and White, you can as well laminate it.

it's up and running,you might try multiple times to go pass that stage once it accepts it an generate an OTP for you,you are done and dusted.

Yes, no NIN on the Card. I have both the slip and card. Moreover the ID is not permanent. It has an expiration date. Imagine mine has expired 2015 to 10/2020

You can also link your NIN with your SIM through your BVN if your BVN number start with 2 try it and confirmm This not a 419 or scam

Trust me... I was at union bank yesterday to reactivate my account. I went with a printed hard
copy of the digital id and with the app in my phone. I was bluntly rejected...

The the banking sector will use it is when a lot of customers start complaining before the will start considering integrating it.
