The three gorges dam is not only the biggest dam in the world, but it is also the world biggest hydro power complex projects and this is located on the Yangtze river in Hubei province in china. The three gorges dam capacity is so massive that the amount of water it holds slows down the earth rotation.

It's been proven that hydro power isn't worth the risk. It's expensive to build,it displaces millions just like this one and it hurts the environment.

If it were today, China would have spent that money elsewhere

Hydro power has other usefulness apart from generating electricity, some countries build it to control flood

it's called hydro and not green energy for a reason. For the fact that this source of energy isn't stable but controlled by season should tell you everything you need to know about it. Another thing is the high cost of maintenance and repair with issues of flooring.

Egypt and some other countries are locked into the battle for the control of Nile river. Nigeria is perpetually required to give power to neighboring countries to ensure that we have enough water to power our dam or it becomes a monumental waste.

I get it bro. But unfortunately that is how i speak. I can't use a voice and accent i don't have. This is the accent God gave me. I am Not From Yoruba land, i am from Edo state (Esan land). If because of my accent you don't want to watch then it is all good.
You can find some other videos online, where the narrator have a good accent.
