School not bad compared to some other church owned schools I know. I was once a teacher at the secondary school here in Ondo state and the feeding is very rich. They eat better than us as staffs!
What happened with that boy is not general to all Deeper life schools. It's just sad that that woman made it look like its everywhere. Working there for a year, I only have good things to say.

Have read alot of comment like yours and I'm fed up. I work in a school and there are standards that's every school will like to meet, hence the cost of tuition fee. When I say standard I mean quality. For crying out loud, DLC fees is very cheap and I wonder the quanlity of services they render. If any of the church members can't afford it, then let them go to schools they can afford. Have a good day.

To your mind , there is no CCTV in the school or Synagogue has CCTV in every nook and cranny on their premises, even in toilet. For your info, CCTV are not installed in some environments such as hotel rooms and inside the hotel rooms, not even in presidential villa or 5-star hotel.That is where people have their privacy but it can be installed at the entrance to monitor who goes in and out.

Every time I criticize the high tuition of Covenant university given that it was set up with people's tithes, offerings and first fruits, it's the poverty-stricken members who criticize me. I don't understand this. Pastors in Nigeria are cashing out. My friends have become pastors and are now cashing out. More are about to become pastors since there are no jobs. 99.9% of Nigerian pastors aren't called by God. They call themselves to cash out.

I attended deeper life for many years and I grew up there, I was still there when they started planning the Kwara campus of the sch, and yes, the poor paid and it was more than tithe. at that time, they were building a regional campground, a residence for the GS in Ilorin, state camp ground and the sch. And believe me, people paid for all of these. There was a time members were to divide their salary/income into 3 parts and drop it for 3 months to fund one of these projects, that way, they would have dropped a month salary. And they still had to drop something from what's left for other projects too.

Free...Good. BUT,
How will the teachers be paid.
How will the pupils be fed and housed.
Hiw will electricity and water be provided.
How will security, educational materials and statutory obligations be handled if the school is free.

People say tithes and offerings. What they fail to understand is that there unlike taxes and levies of government, church offerings are not mandatory, are not enforceable and have no fixed rate so income for planning and budgetary purposes is impossible.

Will you have a school open one week when offerings are adequate and closed the next when receipts are paltry.... No institution can successfully run that way.

Then you have the issues of equity. If you make it free for one then it will have to be free for all. Who then will be a church member...the whole world of course. For no man will pay for what he can get free....

Just think about it for a minute and reason out reality. That is why the world has come to an ingenious decision called a scholarship. That enables the inadequate while maintaining equity and reality through set criteria.
