Nigeria is filled with built-up cities with infrastructure. There are deficiencies in coverage of course, being a developing nation.

But to state that there are ''no roads, no schools, no electricity'' etc etc is to indulge in blatant falsehoods and disinformation.

Nigeria is a standard bearer for Africa. Therefore, from what obtains in Nigeria, one can extrapolate and project for the whole of African.
Nigeria is a case study in failed nationhood or a failed state.
Nigeria, as a country, has showed itself to be good at Nothing,..and by extension, that would include the citizenry. No one is exempt from the responsibility of our collective failure as a nation.

I can understand your exuberance with regards to the pictures you posted. Structures of concrete and steel do translate growth. A US based medical practitioner just died in Lagos because the hospitals do not have oxygen. The roads Nigerians build are not maintained and washed away at first sight of heavy downpour. There is no potable water and electricity remains a Christmas gift. Besides the private schools, Nigeria does not have good public primary and secondary schools anymore. Most universities in Nigeria will be closed down if they function as pig pen in USA. Africa is general and Nigeria in particular have inherent problem that needs to solved ASAP.
