I'm not a fan of churches myself, but aren't schools owned by churches supposed to hire quality staff and material? How do they do that without charging fees that would balance their budgets?

A first time student pays about 400+ in the first term. Adding all, the fees come to about 900k per session at most for first timers or those starting like SS1. The Education Secretary, supervises and coordinates from the Headquarters in Lagos all the twenty-two (22) campuses spread across the nation. Cases can be reported, escalating from the school educators, house masters/mistress, principals, administrators, PTAs right through to the Executive Secretary etc. Some students have previously been suspended or expelled for various offences -exam malpractices, immorality etc are not tolerated.
I hope the current case in issue is given the seriousness it deserves by the school and State authorities. The investigation should be swift and holistic.

Catholic Jesuit loyal pay about 2.8million, and I hope you can remember about 60 of their students who died in a plane crash in 2005. if that had happened in deeper life no one will call it a natural disaster that's inevitable but an act of negligence. I think the hatred toward the church's effort is because of what they stand for which doesn't seem to go down well with the elite, but the church of Christ universal cannot be overcome, and will be loyal to Christ and Christ alone no matter the prevailing ill wind.

Well, if there are 20 campuses, and each campus employ 50 members (teachers, cooks, cleaners, security etc), that's 1000 members, 1000 families.

Even if the school is free, it can't benefit everybody because to maintain quality, they have to take a limited number of students.

I was talking with a deeper life member few days ago, and he said they have a campground in each region. And every local government (except very small ones) have at least one region.

Let's assume each region have an average of 500 families and each family have 4 children on average, that's 2000 children in a region. Multiply that by 774 local government and tell me how everybody can benefit from the school.

After carefully reading comments from people. I discovered only poor people complain the school fees...... Y don't u leave does that can afford it it's not a crime to be rich... Definitely am enrolling my children there when dey resume I have seen children that well treated over there....

I attended deeper life for many years and I grew up there, I was still there when they started planning the Kwara campus of the sch, and yes, the poor paid and it was more than tithe. at that time, they were building a regional campground, a residence for the GS in Ilorin, state camp ground and the sch. And believe me, people paid for all of these. There was a time members were to divide their salary/income into 3 parts and drop it for 3 months to fund one of these projects, that way, they would have dropped a month salary. And they still had to drop something from what's left for other projects too.

Not all members were called to that sacrifice.
Only those who could handle it.
And you can't say they all fulfilled it.
