The population of Igala in Anambra and Enugu state isn't even up to 10%, and they've completely assimilated into the Igbo culture, have Igbo traditional leaders and even speak Igbo etc...the Igbos found in Benue and other regions they were forced into - (no thanks to the artificial boundary scam) have never been assimilated by the other tribes, they still distinctly maintain their homogenous identity, and they stand around 35% in population... and trust me everyone one of those "lost" Igbo communities MUST be accounted for.

The other Igbo in Kogi state was supposed to be in Enugu state.

Northern region of Nigeria had story massive movement of people especially the Fulani and Hausa. It is not uncommon to see Fulani in Sokoto and Adamawa. However such is not the case in eastern region or even southern Nigeria. The Igbo people currently in Benue were not part of northern region of in 1967. They were caved out of Anambra State during 1976 boundary adjustment. The three or four LGAs native to Igbo in Benue State does not bar Ndigbo from being indigenous Igbo.
