Thanks for this input. I reside in Benin city and the chances of getting a good job here are somewhat low. I particularly love the Western states like Ibadan and I always try to attend any worthy interviews there despite the cost. It's just so painful I haven't gotten anything yet both in the Benin and the other states I have been to but I also hopeful this year .

What are your qualifications? I may need your services in Ekiti State

I served in Ekiti state,Efon-Alaaye to be precise grin

. I have a BSc degree in Animal and Environmental Biology. If it's teaching,I can handle Basic science, Biology, Agricultural science (Junior school category) and Food and Nutrition. Furthermore, I also have a one year non-teaching experience in Customer service operations. Thanks alot.

Is it a curse for schools to pay above #50 000?

Most schools I know pay average of #25 000

Some even pay #15 000

Until you start a school, you will never understand that the school does not exist for the sole purpose of paying the staff. No school with a gross income of less than #15million can pay more than #30k to its staff monthly and still remain in business. To generate #15m, you need 250 students paying #60k per term. How many schools have that kind of population and charge that much. Most schools charge way below that. Meditate on this

[will I say it went well or it was a waste of time and money (tfare)
I was there some minutes to 9 am. It took them two hours before they even attend to me. The written interview English and maths were like waec exam that lasted for 90minutes. Then we proceed to micro teaching, were they brought all their teachers to be my students. The annoying part of it is when it gets to salary negotiation, I told them I will manage 100k for a start since they told me to take 3 subjects. The principal told me he has been in the school close to 30 yrs that he is not receiving such amount.
At the end, I told them I will take 50k last while they insist on 30k. Though they said they will get back to me but I don't think I will even go back there if they eventually call me. Nigerian graduates are suffering in the hand of private school owners.
