God abeg oh

Is that why they should ply their trade in prohibited areas?

Inasmuch as this is harsh of the government, I may have to applaud this move. Last week a silly okada who was along a road in Lagos rammed like a mad man into my friend's vehicle and got himself badly injured. As my friend came out to try and even get the man to a hospital, that is how his colleagues stopped him. Over 20 of them attacked my friend's driver. Parked the vehicle to one side and set the vehicle ablaze.
Funny enough, this mob of okada men were all Northerners and Nigériens. This happened around Iyana Iba/Okoko area of Lagos.

Sanwo-Olu's government is not serious about SANITISING Lagos roads, not at all.

Most hold ups on Lagos roads are caused by "danfo" drivers picking and dropping passengers along the road... From Ikeja along to Iyana-dopemu, to Iyana-Ipaja underbridge, to Iyana-Ipaja roundabout, you wonder what gives the public buses the morale to take over half of the road just packed and calling for passengers

What makes it more appalling is the fact that they do so with the open connivance of LASTMA officials. You see holdup stretch from Ikeja along to Shogunle, only to get there and find out danfo have taken all the lanes leaving only one for others. You'll spend 1hour on Iyana-Ipaja bridge just to cross the roundabout because of those loading Ikotun/Ayobo on the road, while the LASTMA officials and the police women sit in the roundabout eating groundnut.

The LASTMA officials are only interested in the #100 they collect from the danfos and will come out once in a while to gesticulate like those having convulsion. Egbeda/Ikotun road is another nightmare ENTIRELY

No one should justify their actions with their low salaries, they ain't the only ones in Nigeria with low salaries. If their salary isn't enough, they should look for another job or go learn handworks, not misbehaving on the job.

Thank God for the police men/women and neighborhood watch guys at Moshalashi roundabout that try to bring a semblance of sanity to that stretch of the road, while ensuring "okadas" are arrested and punished

Let the LASG do the right thing and punish offenders, BOTH MOTORISTS AND THEIR OFFICIALS, then sanity will return to Lagos roads.

With their entitlement mentality I pity Afonja the day those weed smoking guys will turn against them.

Extremely an aplaudable move,
This people are not Nigerians, their influx is worrisome
They attack and kill at no provocation, coexisting with them is like living in the stone age
Anybody without traceable means of identification should go back wherever he's coming from
