Firstly, The US President is not above the law, if he sign up for a social media account and agreed to their terms and conditions, just like everyone else, he should abide by those same terms and conditions period!

If you're familiar with the financial markets you'll know of trends and corrections, sometimes after a strong trend it's customary for an asset to correct for a while before continuing on that trend.

Trump is the correction to decades of crazy politicking in Washington. He promised to give a demographic a voice and when voted in, he immediately started doing what he promised. However the seat of the Presidency requires people who are very good at making compromises in order to carry everybody along, that was a lacking trait in Trump, his inability to compromise and work with his rivals meant every decision he made had to be confrontational, and you can only achieve two things with that

-have people who hate you too much
-have people who love you too much

I don't think there's anybody That's been as polarizing in politics like Trump, there's almost no middle ground with that man. I think his Administration still had many monumental achievements especially Economically more than Obama. Also his foreign policy while being Nationalist is the best thing that's happened to the world for a while, the liberals don't know how much Obama's disastrous foreign policy affected regions globally, especially Africa and the middle East.

I'm glad the trump chapter is over though, I'm eager to see what the Democrats have to offer. But I'm not optimistic at all because I believe 2020 was the beginning of a downtrend globally and we'll continue to see more political, economic and health turmoil for a while.

But from what i can grasp, there is a culture war going on in America.

Trump represents those who don't have a voice, or those who have been silenced by cancel culture, the democrats, SM and media organisations like CNN.

It was during the Obama era when the divide was starting to show. Obama silenced my people or ignored the the issues of many people. Eg the border states have been complaining bitterly about the influx of illegal immigrants Obama and the democrats instead of doing something tangible encouraged illegal immigrants even using tax payers to provide healthcare for them, isn't that a slap in the face of border states?

Now comes Trump. He promises to build a wall to help stop the influx illegal immigrants, and he built the wall. he took the issue seriously. Yet media organisations, celebrities, democratic politicians were raining insults on him calling him a racist, saying he committed a horrible crime for implementing an Obama era law when it comes to separating children of illegal immigrant parents from the said parents.

Why wouldn't Trump be seen as a messiah?

Trump came in and put his country first, ie he was looking out for the interest of his country first(if only Nigeria has such leaders), before considering other countries, unlike past administrations.
