Unfortunately this illusion lives only in your head. You cannot know more about la liga than the la liga president himself Tebas who declared that Messi is La Liga's greatest asset. Only CR7 fans shifted to Serie A which is expected.

When CR7 wanted to leave Madrid, both RM and La liga authority didn't bat an eye-lid to at least even pretend to not want him to leave. He was even criticized for being selfish.

When Messi wanted to leave, it took the prolonged collaboration of the league authority and Barca to fashion out a way to stop him from leaving. You know why? They know who really matters to the league.
