Just write a letter stating the language of instruction during his studies in Nigeria was English language, so he doesn't need to write IELTS. Someone tried it and it worked. Don't submit the 5.5 IELTS score

I will advise against this one o.. Nigerians are making this canada parole difficult for everybody. A letter says you have to submit an IELTS result. If u don't have the required mark or can't write the exam, pls have your application handle under the normal channel.

Imagine everybody starts sending a waiver cos it worked for one person, what the outcome will be. More strict rules.

You are so right on this bro the rules might become stricter hence the reason someone here got a clause in her letter!!!
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Chukwubuikexo: 9:55am On Jan 13, 2021
According to the Canadian govt, you can only be considered as an extended family if you are:

in an exclusive dating relationship, have been in the relationship for at least 1 year and have spent time in the physical presence of that person at some point during the relationship

a non-dependent child (adult child)

a grandchild (dependent child of a non-dependent adult child)

a sibling, half-sibling or step-sibling

a grandparent
Since it's your wife's brother, you are not any of the above and as such you do not qualify for this stream. Like you said you did not see a space in the form that fits your relationship with you in-law.
kennynike:

I have a valid visitor's visa and my wife's immediate brother is in Canada as a Permanent Residence. Having applied for authorization to unite with him, IRCC sent a message to fill a form IMM 0006 [Statutory declaration] and sign by a lawyer to declare my relationship with my brother in law.
The form could not be completed by him because there is no space that fits our relationship. Spouse's sibling is there, but sibling spouse isn't there. I am confused on what to do next. My Visa expires in less than two months! Can I risk traveling without authorization letter?

Very expensive I wonder where they get their own rate from and that's what most schools in Canada uses paymytuition.com is lesser check there if Humber college is amongst the Educational institution they work with

My sister! It is well oh, this IRCC matta pass mind but God's in control always. Biko continue to raise webforms that you need them to finalize your application so you can make payment for your course in due time.

It will end in praise for us all...

awys:

@TeeMade thank you for the heads up yes okay let them start answering the January Applicants so we know those that are remaining na.As for the DLI is true they are now going back to the Online learning as I received updates from my school University of Winnipeg that they will even be doing blended online learning ooo for May session and transition to in person as time goes on and that one has to pay and register for your courses before February 15th or else they defer the admission to September and nah that September I dey try avoid that's why I have been saying let IRCC tell me wetin dey happen so I can pay and register before February 15th cuz for University of Winnipeg it's when you Submit your LOI and your payment that they will register you for the course and reserve the seats their seats gets filled on time for their PACE Courses so nah first come first serve dem dey do to reserve your seat I still dey pray!!!.They already sent a link for webinar information on January 28th to inform us on how to go about the Online learning!!!.It is well I just don't want to be thinking about IRCC matter when they are through they will get back!!!.

Hello Amycanada,

I am aware that CanCollege does not charge application fee but check to be sure that they're a designated DLI I.e. they offer courses that are eligible for PGWP which I think they do though but check again to be sure. Also, you can check if they offer agricultural courses.

I haven't seen anyone on this platform who applied to this school though, don't know if there's a reason for that or maybe people just don't know about them. I'm sure the gurus here can advise you better from their wealth of experience. All the best.

It will end in praise for us all...

Hello, I applied and got an admission in cancollege. They do charge 500CAD (no refundable) application fee and yes they’re registered DLI but they do not offer PGWP for all courses (that can systematically serve as ties to home country) so pls reach out if you’re applying there.

I also saw that ghost update oh when I checked at midnight before I slept but it's not the first time though.

I didn't think much of it becuase I got a response 2 days ago to one of the webforms I raised, I guess from the Newyork office cos it just shows DoNotReply-NePas..., saying they've updated
my documents as requested. I was wondering what they were talking about cos the document I attached to the webform is just my acceptance letter and the mail from my DLI stating it is mandated for all January intakes to participate in the Orientation course starting on the 11th, so they should kindly expedite the processing of my application and provide an update. So I didn't understand where document upload was a request. Can anyone assist to clarify this though, like do I need to take any action or just chill cos I plan to raise webforms today again oh. Sunday was the last time I did that.

@Frankrobbn1 @JustMellow @all the gurus, biko advise.
