You can't kill someone you have overpowered, and still claim to have done so, in self defense.

Moreover, I spotted at least one cut which is not superficial.

No country will waste time and money on investigations when the suspect has revealed the whole truth herself.

The least she would get is a charge of manslaughter. And that is if she gets a very good lawyer, though.

Otherwise, this can be proven as a first-degree murder case.

Please, I beg some Nigerians on this forum to get some education on the basics of criminology.

There is a difference between an act carried out in self-defense, and another carried out otherwise.

The law allows you to carry protective devices such as pepper spray, for example.

If a man wants to rob you on the street, you can pepper spray him. That is an act carried out in self-defense.

But if after overpowering the man (with pepper spray) and you still went on to hit him in the head, and he dies, that is no longer an act carried out in self-defense.


More importantly:

If you have been arrested by the police, they will read your rights to remain silent to you.

Please, refuse to tell them anything until you have seen your lawyer or a lawyer.

Don't go there and be blabbing because anything you say will be used against you in court.

A lawyer is trained to make sure you say only things that would help your case.

So, refuse to talk to the police concerning the case until you have talked to a lawyer.
