Financial status and asset is broad. May not necessarily mean funds availability or funds not being enough. Could be unexplained fund that dropped or left your account that wasnt explained. I will suggest you wait for your notes to understand the details of the VOs mindset and issues with your application.
That way you address directly and not second guess the VO. My personal experience though. Wait for the gurus.

On point.

In addition, it could also mean poor inflows and weak transactional history especially if there is a lodgement. This usually attracts "Personal Asset and Financial Status."

Yes sir I mean waec. Please how do I go applying for any of the top medical school there?

Hello UwaMmebii,

Why not look into other health programs. Most Canadians go abroad for their medical studies then return home to take the required medical exams before they could practice. The program is highly regulated though you can try your luck if you think it will shine.

Good evening gurus in the house.
I applied on Nov 30th through an agent. After updating my biometrics on the 8th of December, it has been radio silence. No NSE request letter and all. My school is resuming on the 18th of Jan.
I called my agent about deferring my admission but he said I should hold on until a decision is reached about my application or until it's been requested by IRCC. Should I keep my fingers crossed as suggested?

Hello Tt4tolu,

There is nothing much you can do at this point than to be patient. If you know your application number, request for your GCMS Notes on your own.

Best of Luck

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Akannitommy: 12:18pm On Jan 14, 2021
I think you need to do a first degree in a health related discipline (biomedicals, physiotherapy, dentistry, nursing, biochemistry etc) or sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics etc). These are called pre-med school. By the end of the program you should be eligible to apply for a PR. Afterwards, you them apply to medical school. In the US, I knew someone who got married to a citizen/resident before they finished their pre-meds to enable then qualify to apply to med school after first degree. I think you need to declare intention to go to med school at some point before completing the pre-med degree though. This route (in Canada) is best for very young applicants who are getting into first degree as teenagers (16/17/18/19).

There is no specific timeframe to commence a re-application. But it is advisable to order your GCMS (which takes about 30-35days) so you can pinpoint the VO's key concerns and reasons for the refusal.
Once this is settled, you can repackage well and refire!

Kachi4545:
Hello. Hope all is well.

Senior in the house can you give your insight on this GCMS note:

“I am not satisfied that the applicant would leave Canada at the end of their stay as a temporary resident, I note that: the client is married or has dependants or states to have close family ties in their home country, but is not sufficiently established. The study plan does not appear reasonable given the applicant’s employment and education history. I note that: the client proposed studies are not reasonable given their career path taking the applicant current employment situation into consideration, the employment does not demonstrate that the applicant’s is sufficiently well established that the applicant would leave Canada at the end of a authorised stay”

Thank you.

Hello Nayantunde,

You may want to consider going for something more related to your work experience and a course you can easily demonstrate its future employability.

Despite your family, the VO wasn't convinced that you have genuine intention to study which still boils to your course/program choice and your study plan.

I believe the VO may have assessed your application based on your academic and/or professional background.

This is what I think:

1. Change program to what is related to your most active engagement(s).

2. Show economic HT in addition to your social tie.

3. Rework/improve on your Letter.

Best of Luck

Grateful to all the gurus who have contributed their knowledge to this thread and previous threads. Finally, I have my Passport in hand and it feels like a dream. I encourage everyone who has received their PPR to send it to VFS Abuja if possible, the process over there is more efficient and faster than VFS Lagos it seems. I also encourage everyone here yet to get MER or PPR to keep believing and praying to God, it will come to pass with faith.

Full Timeline:

NSE Requirement Submission: Dec 15, 2020

Passport Delivered: Jan 14, 2021

Indeed. VFS Abuja is way more efficient in processing passports. The whole process took seven (7) days and not once did I have to call or mail them.

Anything I might be doing wrong?

Your reply much appreciated.

Hello Raalsalghul,

There is nothing to worry about. Most times, the timeline disappears only for it to appear within some time interval.

Relax!

Modified:

I thought the question was on the issue of a disapearing profile after successfully making payment, hence my initial response.

To the issue, give it some time to ascertain that the first transaction wasn't concluded successfully before you try again. If it wasn't successful, try using a Dom card or Flutterwave visual dollar card.

Thank you for your explanation. Does it mean it's a must to have IELTS score? Because my destination school exempted Nigerian applicants from needing one and I explained this in my LOE. Also, I added a letter of English proficiency from my previous schools of study with my application.

About mybankstatement, I'm presenting a scholarship letter as proof of funding with a little fund in my personal account. Do you think I'll still need the bank stuff?

Thanks for your support

Hello Gbadeolu1,

You may want to consider submitting what you have. You can include a brief LOE advising the VO that you'd like to opt for the Regular processing stream and not NSE.

Hello Celoexpress,

Once the NSE document request is initiated by the VO, a placeholder is activated in the GcKey online account for it to be uploaded and/or submitted.

If you didn't get the request, but still desire to forward the required documents if you have them, the webform can be utilized.
