AntiChristian: First, we do not make the claims you Moslems make about your books with the Bible. Second, your koran confirms the Torah and the Injil. So, their validity is, according to your books, confirmed. Now, don't even go the route of their being corrupted because if you do you're indicting your Allah for being unable to PROTECT the books he gave the Jews and the Christians. An indictment that not even the Koran and Mohamed made. Doing that means you are accusing them both. You ask for credentials. Do you want us to look at the credentials of Hafs, whose Koran majority of Moslems use today? Maybe at some future time we will look at the 'Holes in the Narratives' concerning the much touted 'chains of narrators' of Islam. The expose will be shocking! |

ANOTHER HOLE IN THE QURAN : It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Verse of stoning and of breastfeeding an adult ten times was revealed [1], and the paper was with me under my pillow. When the Messenger of Allah died, we were preoccupied with his death, and a tame sheep came in and ate it." [1]: <i>These verses were abrogated in recitation but not ruling. Other ahadith establish the number for fosterage to be 5.</i> Hasan (Darussalam) English : Vol. 3, Book 9, Hadith 1944 Arabic : Book 9, Hadith 2020 Sunan Ibn Majah Why couldn't Allah prevent a sheep from eating his words ? |

enilove:And they still talk about 'PERFECTLY PRESERVED' Koran. Even with all the damning evidence against their claims they still run with the lies. Amazing! |

Let's do the math. 600,000 Hadiths. Bukhari would have had to collect, read, investigate, evaluate and record the ones considered acceptable or authentic. It took him 16 years to complete. That means on the average he had to work on 37,500 per year. Collecting, reading, fact checking, assessing and then recording the accepted ones. Unless working with several teams with either clearly laid down format to work with or the same intellectual capacity as himself being able to do work on 600,000 narratives and completing them in that time frame must have meant that he was inspired by Allah as a hadith collection prophet. |

It is said that Bukhari wrote a book about the narrators (Zuafa-us-sagher). In the book Bukhari condemns several narrators including: Ata bin abi Maimoona, Ayyub bin Aiz, Ismail bin Aban, Zubair bin Muhammad, At-Tayyimi, Saeed bin Urwa, Abdullah bin Abi Labeed, Abdul Malik bin Ameen, Abdul waris bin Saeed, Ata bin As-Saib bin Yazeed, and Khamsan bin Minhal as unreliable. However, the Hadith-collection of Bukhari in its modern form actually includes many traditions narrated by these very individuals! How come these traditions, which Bukhari rejected, were inserted in his book following his death? You can immediately begin to see more HOLES in the hadith narratives! |

Unfortunately the fact that there are multiple hadith about the same circumstances which contradict each other adds to the HOLES in the narratives of the Hadiths. Contradictions within Bukhari How old was the Mohamed when he died? Bukhari 4:56:747 and 4:56:748 - He was 40+10+10=60 years old. Bukhari 5:58:242 and 5:59:742 – He was 63 years old. |

More contradictions: How long did the Mohamed stay in Mecca after revelation commenced? Bukhari 4:56:747 and 4:56:748 – He stayed in Mecca for 10 years. Bukhari 5:58:190 and 5:59:741 – He stayed in Mecca for 13 years. |

Given the fact that most Islamic viewpoints are based on the Hadiths, can we not say that Moslems never had a good or complete knowledge of Islam until 200 years after Mohamed during which Bukhari and the others compiled the Hadiths from various sources? The high regard given to the Hadiths, which Moslems should agree are not the verbatim words of Allah but of Mohamed, actually means that in addition to Allah Moslems also hold Mohamed at par with Allah. They may deny that they do but like the saying goes 'Actions speak louder than words'. |

Empiree:Reno's statement is correct to an extent. The word RELIGION is man-made just to create a difference between worshippers. It will be interesting if we all good back to read the Old Testament from the time God particularly called Abraham till the time of the Kings. The LORD GOD called Abram who later became Abraham to Himself to give him a unique CULTURE. That was/is one of the reasons why God always always warned the Israelites not to mingle with other tribes so as not to copy their culture and be influenced by them. It is the result of many cultures that the word religion was coined in order to differentiate one from another to be a separation. This was what lead to the word Judaism for all Jews. This Judaism by God's standard is expected to be God's culture for man handed to man through His commandments, etc, etc by His appointed and ordained Prophets. How can Jesus Christ practice judiasm when He is One with God the Father. That is why Jesus repeatedly say ' I am the light, the way, the everlastinglife'. Jesus came to point man in the right direction as to how man ought to live according to God's plan, command and purpose for man. This is the reason the Scripture recorded Jesus came to the lost sheep of Israel. Israel is God's foremost chosen people and prophetically through Abraham all the nation's of the earth will be blessed. When the Jews were not ready to hear Jesus teachings because of lack of understanding of the Holy Scripture even from the Scribes, He went to prrach to non-jews. This He did because it was promised Abraham that through him all nations will be blessed. God's blessing on man is His word and it's manifestation in man's life. This is one of the reasons why Apostle Paul was commissioned specifically to preached to the gentiles foremost and the Jews. The word Christian was first mentioned in Acts and it refers to " Christ like" . Those whose lifestyle reveal the attributes of Jesus Christ. Being Christ- like( Christian) is a quality, attributes, characteristics, virtues that Jesus possess which were known by this people that they in turn called the Apostles. Judiasm has Pharisee and Sadduccee. Christianity has Pentecostal, Catholic, Anglican, Methodist, Lutheran, etc. Each of us belong to any of the above bolded because it's God's command that we have fellowship with brethren. But that should not in any way limit or restrict you from living according to God's Word. To those who understands God's word, He will not judge man based on man's religion/denomination. Everyone will be judged based on God's Word as written in the Holy Bible. This is one of the reason the Scripture says..... Eph.4.13 - till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; Eph.4.14 - that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, Eph.4.15 - but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ-- Eph.4.16 - from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. Eph.4.18 - having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; |
