No.. Cockney I believe is a London accent (one of anyway).. They said it’s what that middle class speaks. Hope you know there are about 40 or more dialects in the UK. In Coventry, I worked with a lady who spoke Geordie and I had difficulty understanding her most of the time grin
Lol I have never heard of Geordie before.I only know about the mordern British accent, cockney and scouser.

I guess I need to do more research.

Took a stroll to stretch my legs and relax the eyes from Netflix, I stumbled at this street across the foot of the castle rock opposite an area called Castle Terrace

The Queen's Nursing Institute Scotland..
"We are a charitable organisation promoting excellence in community nursing to improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Scotland.

Our purpose is to enable nurses who work in Scotland’s communities to be the very best they can be." From their site

Just here watching a documentary on Stv HD on Mr Bean called Happy Birthday Mr Bean.. brings back fond memories of my childhood.

Do you know he holds a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and MSc in Electrical Engineering from The Queen's College, Oxford?

It goes to show what we read in school will not necessarily determine where our future and sometimes success lie.

Let's keep pushing on!

View of Castle Terrace..

Why are those trees fenced?

Re: Adventure Of A UK Tier 4 Dependant by Abini2012(op):
People on Castle Terrace wake up to the view of the Castle or as a backdrop in their living room grin

What will you be remembered for when your time here is past? Will your friends and colleagues say you touched their lives or you were the terror among them?

Try to leave your mark in the sands of time.

Life is too short.

A trip from a short story..
While on queue to board our flight, I heard a lady greeting someone in my Lang so I decided to greet her too. She asked where I was travelling to and coincidentally Scotland was her destination too. Na so we gum body..

When we landed, we exchange phone nos and she told us her husband will be coming to pick her from Glasgow.

Fast forward to about a week or so later, she msg me that they will be in Edinburgh that weekend and if it was possible for us to meet up. I said sure.

That Saturday, we gave them directions and they came over and it was fun having and entertaining visitors.

So this was a return trip to visit them before her trip back to Naija.

Meanwhile, we were the only passengers in the double decker bus cry
Pictures not too clear cuz the back windscreen was dirty. Lol

This stop is in the middle of Maxim Park..

It's office park development, comprising of about 10 buildings for office accommodation, wide range of shops and leisure facilities.. the park also houses one of Scotland's largest nurseries, Papillon Nursery.

From Edinburgh to here, takes about 40mins
From Glasgow, takes about 20mins..
So people commute from both cities and other surrounding suburbs..

Sadly due to lockdown, it's deserted.

So this journey was before the strictest restrictions came into force, where you can go in to the food shop to place and pick your order..

With the new restrictions, you can't go in. Place Ur order through the window, door, whatever and wait for them to bring it out for u.
