I have been wondering why certain people prefer to believe in conspiracy theories grounded in alternative reality over their own reality.

Frankly, I understand why Some White Americans might support Trump because he spent the last four years trying to convince them that he was defending them against Aliens . It is the same reason why a decent amount of Northerners still support Buhari despite all of his failures.

However, what I don't get is why Nigerians living in Nigeria love him based on conspiracy theories drawn from white nationalist online operations.

I believe many of them have this idea that believing in conspiracy theories makes them special or look intelligent.

The aforementioned reason coupled with the Nigerian situation where a lot of Youths are jobless and unhappy obviously makes them feel like a king as they are robbing minds with some white nationalist online and radicalized against their own race.

Nigeria is the only black nation in the world where Trump is still very popular.
