PstDapo:Again! You have very little knowledge of history. Kasim Sulamani the Iran military leader who was killed by Trump early last year is far better than Assad and Gadafi when it comes to terrorism. Gadafi had planned several attacks on western target in the past which includes the Lockerbie bombing. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pan_Am_Flight_103 The moderate rebels funded by Obama and majority of Western countries were the opposition Suni majority who are actually 70% of the population in Syria. Assad is not a Suni but from a Minority Alawite tribe 1 Like |

Stunning Poll: Trump Leaves Office With Lowest Average Approval in Gallup’s Entire History — Lower Than Nixon President Donald Trump will leave office with the lowest average approval rating in Gallup’s history, a result that is stunning for more than one reason. On Monday, Gallup released the results of its final tracking poll, and it showed Trump with the lowest approval — 34 percent — of his entire presidency. On top of that, Trump finished with the lowest average approval of any president in Gallup’s history — by a lot: Gallup goes on to point out that Trump is also the only president in the history of the poll — which began in 1938 — never to have reached fifty percent, despite a few flirtations with the elusive benchmark. Although Trump didn’t quite reach Richard Nixon’s historic single-poll low of 26 percent, he shares with Nixon the distinction of being the only two presidents to score their worst approval ratings in their final poll. 1 Like

Today is the Last day of the dangerous and corrupt regime of the most dirtiest, foul, vulgar and meaningless president in American History. I hope in few months time i'll have little to no attention for this derelict criminal

PstDapo:Un security council approved the fly zone over Libya which turned the war in favour of the various Libyan rebels fighting Gadafi at that time Read https://www.un.org/press/en/2011/sc10200.doc.htm The resolutions were led by Italy, Britain and France. I guess you just started following politics about four years ago when you turned 20. |

Iamgrey5: I'm not against the toppling of Gadaffi but I judge it's aftermath , it's experiencing civil wars, what then did Obama foreign policy to the Libyan people achieve after removing a media acclaimed dictator At the beginning of the Syrian govt , many Sunni youths sided with the rebels because they wanted to topple ASSAD But when they saw the babarism and depravity practiced by their rebel group leaders and main trained intelligence operatives, they dropped their arms and received amnesty from the Assads govt, some even rejoined the Syria govt Army and their shittes millitia allies |

Iamgrey5: Actually I started following politics at the age of 18 That's why Russia and China learnt from ,since they are both authoritarianistic regimes When they wanted to impose the same on Syria , they both vetoed it |
Re: American Politics Thread - 2024 Elections — Biden’s Presidency! by Iamgrey5(m): 6:32pm On Jan 19, 2021 |
PstDapo:Obama was not the one that toppled Gadafi Libyans toppled Gadafi with the help of European governments. There was no point Suni support Assad which is why the war lasted two years even after Obama had left office. The only reason Assad is still the president is because of the help of Russian and Iranian governments. |
Re: American Politics Thread - 2024 Elections — Biden’s Presidency! by Iamgrey5(m): 6:34pm On Jan 19, 2021 |
PstDapo:Actually! Russia and China have always Vetod American or pro western policy since World war two. Russia only vetod no fly zone over Syria because of the black sea where Russia has a very big Naval base. |
Re: American Politics Thread - 2024 Elections — Biden’s Presidency! by PstDapo: 6:36pm On Jan 19, 2021 |
Iamgrey5: No I disagree that the Libyan people wanted to topple Gaddafi because if they did it would have been done in a manner that won't lead to civil war which will cost them more economical, political, in terms of lives lost and property damaged America has damaged it's reputation in the middle East by supporting rebel, who also allied themselves with ISIS How will America be supporting a war against terrorism and partnering with ISIS to topple ASSAD |

PstDapo:I assume you were 14 years ten years ago when the Arab spring started in Tunisia. In case you don't know, everyone of state affected by Arab spring started as ordinary protest It sarted in Tunisia, the Tunisia government responded with force until their dictator was forced to bow out It then moved to Egypt where same thing happened It then move to Libya where Gadafi responded with heavy force and refused to bow out until he was caught and beaten to death by his own people on his way out of Tripoli. The video was widely circulated then. And it finally moved to Syria where Iran and Russia fought to ensure Assad didn't fall for political reasons. |
Re: American Politics Thread - 2024 Elections — Biden’s Presidency! by PstDapo: 6:47pm On Jan 19, 2021 |
Iamgrey5: Egypt and Tunisia revolution's were spontaneous and did not require intervention Libya own was chaotic because of America's intervention which led to civil war, even ISIS took some parts of Libya and declared them as part of their caliphate I understand your Assad argument with regards to Russia and China intervention based on their political interests |
Re: American Politics Thread - 2024 Elections — Biden’s Presidency! by Iamgrey5(m): 6:51pm On Jan 19, 2021 |
PstDapo:Everyone of the protest were spontaneous because they were going against Dictators As at the time Gadafi was toppled, he was the longest serving dictator in the world. I think he should have been president for some 40 something years. Almost twice the time you have lived on planet earth. Think about that. |

Iamgrey5: True , but I didn't like the exit strategy of US and it's NATO allies Now there is an ongoing long civil war We don't know who will emerge victorious, whether is the UN backed government or the Haftar led coalition that will prevail, even ISIS is fighting over the little territory they have Hopefully a new dictator will not emerge and replace Gaddafi 1 Like |
