Two geopolitical regions deserve the 2023 presidency. 1st is Southeast and 2nd is northeast. However, the current political equation of Nigeria hugely favors the northeast in 2023.

It is TOTALLY silly for Igbo to aspire to become president in 2023. The best path to Igbo presidency is to become V.P to a northeast president. Afterwhich it will clearly be the turn of the southeast to produce the president.

Those clamoring for the southeast presidency are neophytes and totally oblivious of the reality in Nigeria today.

1. PDP could NEVER win the Presidency in 2023 if it has Igbo presidency as a candidate. Even if they win, the APC will still use the apparatus of the Federal Government to convert the PDP victory into APC victory! Nothing will happen! After all, they did the same to Atiku to a large extent.

2. APC would NEVER give Igbo its presidential slot. Umahi and other over-ambitious daydreamers are simply being used to get APC as a significant competitor in their states and in the southeast by extension.

Those like Orji Uzor Kalu, Okorocha and Umahi clamoring for "Igbo presidency" in 2023 are simply vying to be V.P for themselves. They totally know it isn't feasible at all.

IPOB has earned more respect than any Igbo politician alive today despite Nnamdi Kanu's oral diarrhea. The southeast politicians missed a golden opportunity to stand with their people when massacres were going on in several communities by the Fulani herdsmen. Instead, they clearly showed they were more concerned about their selfish political career than the lives of their people. The result is that since Nnamdi Kanu came to their rescue again, he has gained even more reverence and importance in Igboland. In fact, the reason those Fulani enclaves in Ama hausas, Ugwuoba, Lokpanta etc were not attacked despite Fulani army doing python dance is that MNK refused to order it then.

Now, it is clear that any killing of Igbos will attract reprisals on those responsible. The illegal bandits camps in the forests all over southeast that the Igbo politicians refused to condemn are being abandoned by the bandits who are aware that a fire-fight with ESN will ensue if they stayed in those forest camps. Igbo politicians know they cannot counter it if the order is given by IPOB. In short, Igbo politicians especially those in today's ohaneze know they do not control the population. That is why such statements trying hard to relegate IPOB as an insignificant factor in the southeast today is totally hilarious.

Ipob is the only organization Fulanis are afraid of. Even the eastern governors themselves are getting scared and they are been careful not to mention the ESN.
