This is an organized attempt by the university authority to victimize the lady. Late registration is a common practice in the school. On no account should her portal page be assessible for payment and registration if the university hadn't approved it. ICPC and NUC should ensure justice is served here.

The Vice Chancellor was afraid that if he does not quickly get rid of the accussed Lecturer by sacking him.

He will use his own head to carry the problem.

You misplace it. Professor Akindele scandal bursted out in 2018. He was jailed some months latter after being relieved of his appointment by the university, he was already serving as HOD in reedemer university. He completed his two years jail term few months ago

I pity anyone who still have faith in the Nigerian public educational system! If this young lady had started in a private school, she probably would have finished by now. If you have the means, please go abroad and school. Nigerian lecturers and school administrators are like demi-gods. Very arrogant and insensitive bunch. unfortunately too, they are very low-ranked worldwide. They have never produced or discovered anything. Just looking for bribes and who to victimize.

this statement will destroy the whole senate and the school admin because the institution has been known for lax of payment of this rule for post graduate students.
also roll of payment for almost 90% of its students on its graduate list will be affected.

my take is they should free the girl.it is not because of one annoying case the school authorities will burn down a whole house of hard work

which school??

the KASU lecturer that was dismissed recently in Kaduna was my former lecturer in ABU Zaria. that was how he was chasing female students that year (about 12years). Nemesis finally caught up with him, he hugged his project student from behind. useless man.

So a non-student was paying fees and attending lectures and writing exams. a lecturer even went to jail over a lady that's not a student there.
OAU by her stance, is challenging the judgement of the court that treated her as a student.

Nigerians largely deserve what they get. That fool talking about image never factored the image of the victim into the equation. It will reflect on her transcript that she performed poorly in that course and future contacts will read that as a weakness.
