Ministry Leaders Apologize For Prophesying Trump Win by Biodun556(op): 5:17am On Jan 24, 2021
Several church leaders issued apologies last week for prophecies they made that Trump would win the 2020 presidential election. These leaders include Bethel’s Kris Vallotten, R. Loren Sanford, and Jeremiah Johnson—the latter of whom was entirely unprepared for the vitriol he has received in response to his apology.

“Over the last 72 hours, I have received multiple death threats and thousands upon thousands of emails from Christians saying the nastiest and most vulgar things I have ever heard toward my family and ministry,” said Jeremiah Johnson in a Facebook post published yesterday. “I have been labeled a coward, sellout, a traitor to the Holy Spirit, and cussed out at least 500 times. We have lost ministry partners every hour and counting

Prophecy is different from forecasting. Most of you are forecasters that only deserve to work in betting companies instead of the church.

What people don’t understand is that prophecy is not necessarily towards an absolute outcome of certainty.

Experience and understanding of prophetic history according to scripture shows clearly that the intended outcome of a prophecy can change under certain conditions.

The actors involved can influence the manifestation of a prophecy.e.g Hezekiah’s case in the Bible after Isaiah prophesied to him.

If the people involved don’t follow their personal sentiments,it’s possible they could have heard a counter information with reasons and the outcomes that will follow.

Prophecy or no prophecy, the word of God abides forever.

Selah!

Nigerian pastors would have come up with a shitty excuse like "God showed me Trump winning but the results were manipulated by man"

False like you do no cease to amaze.

God Himself commanded that any prophet who prophesies falsely should be put to death... Under the Old Covenant which many of you so-called prophets today operate, these men should all be condemned to death..with no exceptions. There are no provisions made for prophets who apologise eventually escaping that penalty... According to God they must all die... undecided

Citing the case between Hezekiah and Isaiah as reason t suggest some sort ot leniencyy be shown those who indeed transgress the law of God does not in some way change God's ruling in this and every actual case. undecided
All you do by dragging Hezekiah's case into this is attempt to throw God Himself under the bus for the sake of men, and nothing more. undecided
