Graze all you like in your state of origin.

If you must graze in Ondo state, you must register with the state government.

He is a noisemaker. South Western Governors are noisemakers and not bold enough to do shiits to the fullanis in this country.

After the next 7 days, the Fullanis will still be in that land doing what they do best and the same Governor will chicken out as a coward they are known for. Infact, another set of people from that region will even support the Fullanis.cheesy

We know them, zero boldness and zero braveness when it comes to dealing with Fullani issues.

If Tinubu their god and personal savior could say nothing concerning what the Fullanis are doing to them, no South Westerner alive will do shiiit.

Ghen ghen!

Oyo is surreptitiously doing theirs, secretly backed by state resources since he is PDP and is going for a second term.

Fáyemí of Ekiti is thinking of presidency, so he is still neither here nor there. However the people will take the decision for him. Some communities in the state have already defied his order to host fulanis and driven out the marauders in their entirety.

Ondo is not hiding his and is fully confrontational. At least he doesn't have a re-election to muddle up his decisions.

Let's see who'll defy the high court ruling most especially when it's now backed by state, local and native actors all over south west.

Àmòtékùn will make a few arrests of violators and hand 'em over to the Fulani compromised police. But that will just be show-off and a diversion.

The majority of arrests will be done by the natives, OPC, Agbekoya and other local security forces. Those arrested will not be handed over to the police, but will summarily disappear.

They won't tell Fulanis before they pack their load and flee.

Seun, one of your experiments is going beserk o.

In fact I even feel somehow ridiculous now sef, cos I'm quoting a bot.

Fulanis have the right to live and stay anywhere in this country. It is enshrined in our constitution. Nobody likes war but we won't stretch our necks to be cut off without a form of resistance

How 'bout the right of any southerner to live anywhere in the North to rear pigs or to sell alcoholic beverages?

Oh sorry, it's another bot

*All Forest Reserves in the State are to be vacated by herdsmen within the next 7 days with effect from today, Monday 18th January, 2021.

*Night-grazing is banned with immediate effect because most farm destruction takes place at night.

*Movement of cattle within cities and highways is prohibited.

*Under-aged grazing of cattle is outlawed.

“Our resolution to guarantee safety of lives and property within the State shall remain utmost as security agencies have been directed to enforce the ban.

“In its usual magnanimity, our administration will give a grace period of seven days for those who wish to carry on with their cattle-rearing business to register with appropriate authorities”.

The 7-day grace expires on Monday.

Officials of the State Ministry of Justice said the Ondo government derived the legal basis for its action, not just from the constitution, but two legal instruments.

One is the Land Use Act, part of the 1999 constitution, which vests the control of the land in the state on the governor.

The other legal instrument is the 1969 Trade Cattle Tax Law of Ondo State, enacted in the West, the same year that Justice Thompson made his historic judgment.

Nobody is chasing them away, they were simply asked to vacate the forest reserve because it is not to be occupied and degraded for free.
They should buy land like everyone else and ranch, not wandering into other people's premises.
I was never given free accommodation anywhere I went including the north. Normal people rent or buy
You guys should calm down, do the right thing with proper documentation not clustering like a herd

But they don't want to ranch in the north where there is land in excess. Borno state is almost as big as the entire South West Nigeria in terms of landmass.

Which makes me believe that this is just a plot, a ploy by the conservatives within the Fulani elite to extend their conquest and lay claim to Southern territories as part of their own.

The Fulanis emigrated from parts of Guinea, The Gambia and Senegal. Today there are far more fulanis in Nigeria than there are in the places they originate from. That ought to tell you something about these people. Please remember, not all fulani herdsmen are terrorists but all terrorist herdsmen are fulanis.
fitzmayowa:
They Fulani's forget that the root cause of this ban is because they've failed to do their business legitimately, its high time the Fulani's ditch their age long wondering in the bush and embrace ranching....

Ranching is safer for both the Fulani's and the farmers and it will bring an end to the conflicts buying hectares of land for their ranching is very cheap in those community they've decided to unleash mayhem.....

High court and not supreme court, and the judge is a yoruba in yoruba land. Then the judgement will be nothing short of tribalism.
Because if courts in the north by northerner judges should target main occupation of southerners in the north and issue judgement against them, how will that be....

Then do it on your own land... Not violating other people's culture and established Nigerian laws and expect them to keep quiet.
I'm sure I can't wander into your compound or into your harem and you will be happy with it or not shoot me dead.
Do not expect treatment you do not give others, if you all want us to be wandering and occupying free in this country, say so... We down south need farmland and maybe occupying the open spaces in the north for free will be ideal
