On 05/05/2020 I went to firstbank POS agent to withdrew #93000 with my zenith bank ATM card but the transaction was not successful. The error receipt that was Pos printed by the Pos machine was code 91. The pos agent told me that I should go and complain to my bank (zenith bank) which I did, in fact I have gone to bank like 15 times now filling error debit form but yet my money is not reverse. Pls what legal option can I explore or how can I copy CBN for the reversal of my money cox the last time I went to bank one of the staff told me that it will be difficult for zenith bank to reserse my money cox they can't trace that transaction again.

That's why I don't like using POS to withdraw huge amount of money

The only way out is to go to Twitter and copy the bank handle, EFCC'S handle, Tunde irukera's handle and CBN. Am sure there will be a way out

If it went through, baba POS might've gotten an overage that day but just kept quiet and swallowed it. It is well.

How can you withdraw 93k on a POS machine? The charges alone would be about 3k or more depending on the merchant. Was the urgency of the money so much that you decided to inconvenience yourself this way?

You could have transferred the money to them via your app, then request for cash. That's what I do whenever I make use of POS.

To your issue. Avoid going to the bank, banking issued are resolved easier online than in the banking hall. Those in the banking halls are on daily target so they don't have time to waste on you. They'll most likely tell you any story they feel will make you get off their raider so they can concentrate on more productive customers.

Reach out to your bank on Twitter and email. They'll respond to you within 24 hours. Make sure you give a detailed report of the whole incident. Date, time and location of transaction. Your debit alert of the said sum should also be attached to your mail and sent.

A customer service representative will be assigned to you to follow your case. Hopefully before a week, you'll get back your reversal.

Eight weeks and counting, Access bank hasn't reverse my money. I have called, message, tweet, live chat and gone to their bank branch. CBN didn't respond, just nothing. I have mailed the merchant and they said no trace of such transaction.

Request for a receipt of the failed transaction from the merchant, snap it and attach it to your detailed mail mail and send to your bank. While sending, copy CBN. They'll resolve it ASAP for you.

Call them out on all social media platforms. Especially twitter

Send an email to cpd@cbn.gov.ng and copy FBN customer support using the mail trail of your previous emails to the bank or attach evidence of your complaints to the bank. Please note that your complaints must have been made for a minimum of two weeks.

The merchant can't find anything but, I still have the receipt from my bank.

I always tell pple don't use Ur ATM at pos outlets......it's either u do transfer to dem or go to Ur bank...

it's unfortunate bro, but in this country, virtually everything is resolved with violence...

-You lend someone money, you get it back by violence

-You bought something, it's fake, you get your money back by violence

-You pay conductor, he refused to give you change, only violence can resolve the issue

-Your girl/man cheated on you, violence

-Land issues and assets, violence

-You loss an election, violence

-You playing football, violence

-Chilling in a joint, all of sudden violence

-Driving on the highway, scratch your car, violence etc

No the receipt has faded away. Pos receipt after two weeks the write up is not clear again.

They should reply you with progress report. Do it again then copy CBN. They'll act faster.
