Greetings petlanders, I've been looking for a day to start a diary for my two boys but i always don't but today it's a must lol.
Murphy is a boerboel, he was so hairy and had no wrinkles at the early stage but i promised him I'll do my best in feeding which i must say "worked". He's currently 2yrs+. I've stored pictures to share the previous moments with petlanders here. follow us and be entertained.

While gustaf is a German shepherd born in August 2017, he's currently 7months old. His coat and appearance has changed a lot since when i got him till date.... Gustaf is a very active dog.

your GSD looks like my 2month old GSD, same colour, but not big, maybe when shes 9month she might look like yours. What do you feed yours?

Yes hopefully she would. I do different kinds of feeding on them, just read through and everything will be clear to you.

You can go diamond puppy dry food because it a food which an average person can afford with an excellent result.

Apologies for the way I've been ignoring all the comments and have refused to update y'all on our thread/diary without a valid reason. I lost interest in pet section and kinda in dogs lately as well due to how things turned out, I wouldn't give every detail here but for months now I've not posted augusto's pic because it'd attract criticism, arguments and mockery thereby reducing what we've all built for years into a tragedy.

Augusto didn't turn out as we had all expected at first so I felt taking pics of him and uploading here and on Instagram wouldn't be cool at all, he's currently not with me anymore so gustaf has no option but to remain as he used to be after murphy's demise.
Watching something you cherish dissapoint you isn't easy at all so I thereby officially announce the closure of this thread from today but won't be taken down as it'd serve as a manual and a pet diary to motivate Nigerian cynophilist into keeping dogs not just for breeding/as an outdoor security but as man's best friend as well, and to also motivate others into opening a thread for their beloved dogs and thereby giving these dogs recognition and a medium to be admired by people all over the country, I hope you all understand and read meaning into my reasons.

Sorry to say but you made a big mistake in my opinion!!!! dont understand how you can say Augusto didn't turn out as expected when you didn't even give him a chance..........After all he is just 10 months!! Some Boerboel line take 3 and a half years to mature and fill out especially the really big lines!!!!

When I saw Augusto as a pup I knew he was a good example of the breed.......Boerboels tend to grow unequally until about 18 months before they start to even out......

Look at the Pics below.....these pups are around 7 month old, and have a very similar build to Augusto in fact imo Augusto has a better head!!! Now the pups I posted are out of Afrika Sakabuka, the largest Boerboel ever appraised!!

FYI All boerboels grow at different rates hence comparisons are useless when they are puppies.......Augusto has big paws and is going to be a big dog!! you are going to be very disappointed that you let him go!!!

Firstly Mike is nearly 2 years and also out of a completely different line...........Boerboels grow at different rates(refer to my previous post).

Breeders usually judge a good puppy at 2 months/ 8 weeks of age, since at that age a Boerboel puppy gives the best indication of how they will look when fully grown..........anything between 2-12 even 18 months you can't judge a boerboel as their growth is all over the place!!!

I was forced to do what I had to do because neighbours were already making fun of my dog which wasn't easy for me. some pictures won't be really cool to be here so I guess I'd send them to your Instagram DM rather than displaying it in a public forum like this

If I was thinking about other peoples opinion, I would have sold jack for 404 a long time ago. I even got insulted on nairaland because I owned a local dog. The most important thing is love and care. Augusto is a good dog irrespective of how he looks now, he would become fully grown soon and u would see for ur self.

Getting your dogs to sit and eat on command is not just as easy as it seems, it takes some special effort and patience to archive what you want.

Contained in the ceramic plate are raw chicken legs, head, wings and some fresh liver.. Murphy sometimes teaches Gustaf how to be patient, calm and eat on command
