I remember the Senate Democrats getting rid of the filibuster for judicial nominees during the Obama administration because the Republicans were obstructing all Obama nominees left, right and center. However, when Republicans took over the Senate, with Trump as president, they used the same non-filibuster to push through all of Trump's judicial nominees.

So, I will advice the Democratic majority to thread softly on this matter.
