I been driving a 2004 Camry...... 4 cyl..... currently has 240 000 miles. The car is very reliable despite having such high milage. Maintenance is very low. I'm tall... the car suits me... plenty head room. I use it mainly for commute.... 40 miles each day.... 70 to 95 mph in the mornings..... 20 to 65 mph in the evenings.... no hills. If to be driven in a hilly area.... or you love to fetch load... get a 6 cylinder. I'm just kinda tired of this one and want to get the last in the series...2006 XLE. After that one... I hear of problems.

I will personally recommend this vehicle to anyone.Bought my Camry 2004 money in 2014,used it for 6yrs and sold it last year.The only repair I did on that vehicle is changing of tyres,shocks,brackpad and kickstarter.I hearby declare that car d most reliable car in d world even

I currently own one. The car is pretty reliable. The A/F and oxygen sensors are the only down side of this car for me. For an average user, it may not really matter cos it doesn't noticeable affect the driveability. It's easy to maintain as well. Just stick to manufacturer specs and you'll enjoy the car. I bought mine as Nigerian use and have used it for 3years now. It's currently 309k miles and still going very strong.

Hello Guys, I'm currently using this car, but I noticed I'm having high fuel consumption rate. My mechanic said the catalyst i.e indomie is absent. Could this be the cause of the high fuel consumption??

The Car is prone to having malfunctions of those sensors. They're are the sensors which regulate Air and Fuel mixture in the car's combustion system. When these sensors go bad the car seems to lose it's fuel efficiency. Over 75% of this grade of Camry I have scanned always throw up codes suggesting that those sensors were malfunctioning. Like I said earlier, it doesn't noticeably affect driveability. You may only notice an increased fuel consumption. That is the only negative for that car for me. Apart from that, it is a very reliable and easy to maintain car.
