Yorubas do NOT discriminate based on religion. I have lived in the Southwest for a long time, and discovered that you can have Muslim and Christians within the same family (e.g. BRF and his wife or Ajimobi and his wife).

My best friend in Lagos has four shops, he is using one to sell retail provisions and drinks.

I am using one shop as packing store. I have other shops close to that location.

Two of his shops became vacant and I approached him for the shop. He agreed.

I told him I want to start selling wholesale pack drinks and I want to start next week with 1000 packs.

Dude no gree give me shop again.

He sells only retails and I want to sell only packs and in wholesales.

Before meeting my friend for that shop, I met another woman. She sells drinks also but in retail like my friend.

She refused to rent the shop to me.

I met one man that has spare land in front of his house. I told him I will give him money to build two shops there and rent them to me.

My friends told me never to try am or I go hear am from those two Yorubas that refused to rent the shop to me.

For context:

I have two shops in that junction. I am using one of the shop as packing store and it is the same building with my friend I earlier mentioned in the story.

My other shop is in another building but close to my packing store. That shop is owned by the woman I mentioned in the story.

She didn't allow me sell drinks, so I sell other things.

The man I met to build the new shop has the land just by the side of my shop not the store.

It was still a Yoruba man that separated the two Igbo shoe sellers who wanted to kill them self.
