Angular Bug Bounty by DC49: 7:53pm On Jan 28, 2021
So there's an Angular app I'm building, but I've been stuck on a bug.
I've provided enough details about the app and the bug on this StackOverflow question: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/65899139/angular-11-ssr-app-reloads-failing-on-firebase.

The first person that can help resolve the bug or give me tips that'll lead to me finding a solution will get a bounty.

I have 3k in mind, but I'm open to negotiating a bit higher.

If you've found a solution, drop your number and I'll contact you, or send me a WhatsApp message through the contact on my signature.

I think what you need is a .htaccess file to rewrite the route. I can share the script with you or you can just Google it .

I have looked into the matter. grin

I think the problem is coming from profileDataResolver. Espcailly the this.profileService.getProfileData() method.

In the profileService class, you have two apiUrl and imageApiUrl variables.

I am guessing the ones you commented out are the ones you intend to use in production. Are you sure you swapped them.
As in, did you comment out the ones with localhost and uncomment the real API url in production?

Aside that, do you have the authorization to consume the APIs?

Also, in your profile.home.component.ts

// the version below is used on live server
// this.profilePhoto = data['profileData'].profile_photo
// this.coverPhoto = data['profileData'].cover_photo

did you uncomment the bolded and comment out the ones you used in development.

I also think you should make your development environment as close as possible to your production environment.

I want to believe this is a pet project. Why not get your data from a single source all through?

Thanks for looking into it. During my tests I'm reasonably sure I swapped the variables, but I'm going to redeploy it this afternoon to recheck.
Also I have the right permissions to access the API. It's a software I developed personally.

I'll provide an update after I redeploy.
