100k everyday is 3 million a month which is 36 million a year. Around a 100k USD in revenue yearly. A lot of Nigerians do this businesses once they graduate so why is the still so much poverty if a ton of Nigerian youths make around 100k USD yearly doing business.

That's because they lack access to information, they believe in getting a 'good job' which is non existent these days.

Also, they'd tell you that business is not for everyone.

When I finished from uni and was job hunting for several months, I just had to hit the street and learn importation and digital marketing so I won't make the statistics.

In present Nigeria, if you are not equipped with a hot skill or business.....e go hard o !!

Prior to Covid-19, 98% of graduates from Japanese universities got a job within three months of graduation. According to you, those folks don't know what they are doing or Japan - third largest economy - has more poor people than Nigeria. Maybe you believe selling powerbanks will make Nigeria have a bigger economy.

The truth is: everyone cannot be an entrepreneur, the earlier you know this, the better. Nowadays, many young Nigerians have one side hustle or business yet are poorer than their counterparts in Brazil or Thailand where the vast majority of university's graduates aspire to be employed after graduation (there's nowhere in the world where there are more employers than employees). If with all this faux entrepreneurship, there are more poor people in Nigeria than elsewhere, does it not tell you that the Olodo politicians y'all like defending have done more harm than even good towards the economy and populace?

Getting rich in Nigeria is one of the easiest things to do if you have the right information
, hot selling product, access to market and effective digital marketing skills

Find a problem and sell the solution.

Find a hot selling product, import it, brand it and sell more than 5000 pcs of it using facebook,, instagram, Nairaland, google and twitter ads.

Its capital intensive at first when starting out but at some point the journey becomes easy.

In Nigeria you do not need to re invent the wheel to get rich, just stick to what works.

Anyways I'm into gadget importation from US, wholesale // retail powerbank business and if you'd like to earn passive income...reach out to me.

Cheers !

There's a limit to being rich in a country with anaemic economic growth. I will create a thread about this because the bold is a very lie.

Big lies. I see many graduates on my whatsup status selling one thing or the other. They are still damn broke.

Everybody cannot go into trading.. Nill. The problems with folks like you are that you are easily get used to the statusquoe, without asking question.

Let call a spade a spade. Making it legitimately in Nigeria is the hardest.

My aunt who use to work as a secatary in a pharmaceutical company in Kano, was sacked after Nigeria stop the importation of tramadol and other drugs into the country. She was with on 100k as of then I guess, when she was tired of staying home, she started a daycare around her street, with time people started trusting and bringing their children to her. Now she makes above 300k monthly. No multinational company has taken over her day care oo. The goal is not to become a billionaire, but the goal is to be financially free. Now think about many other opportunities that our youths haven't looked into. And for the records, my friend in Benue buy garri from benue and send it to Lagos and Kano, he makes 200k monthly. I'm into farming, and makes more than that. Look around your environment and see for yourself.

Oga you are shouting my friend my aunty my uncle. What about you How are you faring in Nigeria?? You know where your Aunty waka to get the school moving. You know how many years it took her. 6 years, school never pick up. Is it the Kano that are not interested in sending their kids to school that she saw 300 children lol.

Bro, Selling on whatsapp is quite different from learning how to sell professionally on facebook and Instagram.

How many people can you advertise your products to on whatsapp ?

(High resolution videos, landing pages, logistics, customer care) is what makes the difference in effective digital marketing.

Have a productive day.

How do you contend with herdsmen in your area considering the vast swathe of land and crops planted on it?

The guy made such huge amounts from gamestock share and just like you can make similar amounts from such investments. You dont need to be in USA to invest gamestock you can do it from Nigeria. Apart from stocks Cryptocurrency are turning people to millionaire everyday and you can do that from confort of your home. You just need right skills and fellow right people on Twitter. For me Nigeria is still the best place to make money . You just need capital and right skills .

LOL... Let them be deceiving themselves. Most girls you see on Instagram selling one thing or the others are doing olosho there. Even at that, they are still very poor. All this dm me business they are doing on social media only few of them are actually making better money, most are still very poor.

Those who do online business and earn in hard currency are those who make better money *cos of the value of naira. No mind them, they just like to talk as if they are blind to the prevalent abject poverty in the nation.

How can a country with widespread poverty and high unemployment rates be better than rich countries with low poverty and unemployment rate? How? Statistics are there now.. People should read abeg.
You made a great point.

It's still up by 154 percent in a week. The fight is crazy between retail investors and hedge funds. Around 1539 percent in a year. This is just GameStop. Tesla increased by 800 percent last year. Curtis did 300 percent in a day.

My point is America has so much the citizens can use to make money unlike the lies agbayas are heaping on us here.

The guys suing got into the game late. Wise ones have moved on. I made this thread because contrary to the lies a lot of abroad Nigerians heap here the west is still the easiest place in the world to make money. Take Tesla just look at how much the stock has grown. Look at the growth last year. No comoany on the Nigerian stock exchange can bring in such earnings. The same thing in America is the same thing in LSE the same thing in the Tokyo stock exchange the same thing at the Hong Kong stock exchange. Most of this countries have a lot of ways for their citizens to make a lot of money and the good thing is the jobs are even there. So someone who Is working and prudent enough to take advantage of this market movements can become a millionaire and retire early.

Such opportunities aren't in Africa. Poverty is synonymous to the African continent.

People who rode the NSE up to 60k in 2000 before the 2010 crash would not agree with you, neither would anyone who's reaped the almost 100% rise in the last 12 months.

Besides, the stock market is no indication of how easy it is to become wealthy in a country as many have pointed out on here. You got to work at it, and not just hope you'd be lucky stock picking wherever you are. And as someone already said, Nigeria has opportunity for job creation because a lot of work is yet to be done.

That's if the government allows you. The stock market is an indication of how healthy a country's economy is. There's really nothing to be done in Nigeria. The country is doomed to get worst. It's what it is. Bookmark this comment and come back in ten years and let's see if Nigeria is better in anyway.

Don't make me laugh please. The stock market is about what people think about the health of a country and not a country's actual health. People thought GameStop was healthy and invested in what you yourself called a pump and dump. The stock market is an aggregate of many pump and dumps. Read Greenspan's Irrational Exuberance and you might have a clue.

You seem to like Tesla that keeps going up and up. Are you aware what Tesla's revenue is and how many cars they sell? Below is a comparison chart with Ford and GM. Study it then tell me if Elon Musk is not walking on water, or sand.

As for this bit, I am of the opinion that Nigeria is we the people. If we are so useless and unable to do great things in our nation, it is we who will be doomed. Thankfully, with 42.54% of our population being between the ages of 0–14, old thinkers like you who have lost hope in our illustrious nation will soon be a minority and will not be determining Nigeria's future for much longer. And unless you intend to not empower your own children, I have faith in them and my country Nigeria because I have faith in myself and in you too.

And yes, I have made a note.
