Can't glo pull out our data from their data base and use it to populate the nin database so that we don't need to go stress ourselves to register again,

Itz rather unfortunate how local government thugs have hijacked the registration process. Waz @d local government on d 5th of January, 2021, i waz charged 6 thousand Nigerian naira, paid the sum of three thousand naira as affront, with a promise 2 complete payment@d end of d whole process. The guy I met gave me a photocopy form 2 fill, i filled it, we exchanged numbers, the guy told me he'll call me for capturing. Till date, ve not heard from him, called severally, he keeps on posting me, I became tired. Guess I'd b visiting one of the network providers this week.

I don't even know how I go my nin.. does it mean if u have international passport u get instant nin or what?

This is a much awaited and great move. I heard MTN and Airtel will commence theirs this week in their various designated outlets. The madness and unwarranted attitude of the NIN officials need to be shoved in their shoes. This decentralised move by telecoms will render some of the NIN bribe takers hopeless, because they must have calculated how much they were gonna make from helpless citizens as the so called dead line draws closer.

Where are the consumer privacy watchdogs? Imagine empowering private companies to register and manage people's biometric data record. How can Telecom companies be involved in NIN registration? Nigeria is indeed a mess. There are strong indications that this exercise will be abused and customers private biometric data maybe sold for profit by the Telecom businesses. This is not a good development.

NIN program is a DNA harvesting scheme and it is part of the COVID-19 globalists agenda.

I wish you never bothered to part with any sum that day, because the government says registration is free. And I wish you knew that they would definitely shift the deadline and possibly they would have been interventions by the telecoms before the deadline, because none of them wants to lose any subscriber. I had been there thrice, same story of
we have more than enough applicants and we can't finish endorsing them till end of April. I'm really happy for this move by telecoms.

What is d benefit of NIN? How does NIN stop crime? I thought we were told that BVN will stop crime, kidnapping, 419 and corruption? How far with that pls?

What I know even 12 year olds have phones so are they also supposed to be arrested as criminals because they lack NIN What about the elderly people that sick or have health issues and are more susceptible to COVID19 are they to risk their lives for something that's irrelevant , How many politicians have they arrested for looting and corruption? What happened to BVN can't they use the data captured for the registration or is BVN now useless

It's cool business. Government through NIMC pays #200 per registration provided you meet their equipments requirements of #1.5M

whats the meaning of this NIN registration of a thing MTN , AIRTEL and co all have the bio data of most nigerians which includes thumb and index finger prints. so what else is NIMC looking for ? ?? is it not pictures and finger prints why not get that info from the telecoms companies like MTN and AIRTEL and use that to issue NIN
even banks have peoples bio data which includes thumb and index finger. prints .

I registered with my glo line, i have dialed the code several times nothing showed up.
