Heeeh..all these things you are saying scares me.My grandparents and aunts died of diabetes but I have not been diagnosed??

Don't be scared. It's just to take precautions. Ok?

First of all, if you've been bathing with the wound open all these while, you have to stop doing that from now on till it heals.
Don't believe it won't heal because it's been there for a while. As long as you alive, it will heal.

Use something clean and waterproof...like an unused nylon bag.
