Even the most advanced countries police hardly prevent crime, they show up when the crime has been committed. They might catch the criminal after the act or neutralize him/her during the act but the fact is that they arrive when crime has been committed or being committed. So in the case of someone wanting to shoot another dead, unless there’s a policeman within the perimeter, the shooter(s) will likely succeed. Whether they are caught or not is what differentiates a competent police unit from an incompetent one.

To be honest even in these foreign countries na GOD Dey save person... I lived in the US for a few years and those Haitian boys don’t play games oh, nor do the Hondurans or Cubans, it’s very easy to get caught up in the crossfire. The difference is in Nigeria it’s always targeted, and it’s someone close... Sometimes you’re good to your associates and they want your place, most times it’s money though or an opportunity that can only suit one person so one feels the need to eliminate the other, be that as it may, just cuz you and I won’t go that extent doesn’t mean the next man won’t...
