For the ceasing of hotplate, I remember they went from room to room before they finished with room 101 block A, everybody in the hostel were aware that they were seizing. @ topic.... warnings the day before students move in. Shouldn't these rules be set out before students apply for residency? It's clear this is a cowboy institution .... living in the hostel is like camping in the forest. If all amenities are provided..... maintained.... and rules enforced.... there will be no need for all these warnings. We see how things run smoothly in other countries.... and believe their citizens are responsible... but that's not true... it is because of rules... 24/7 enforcement and consequences.

The one that baffle me is that open bath. Who fond of doing it female student. Some will climb to upstairs where she think that everybody can see her to take her bath. Pls it should be ban totally.

I attended Uniben, mark my words, hall portals will not b able to enforce these rules rather they will collect stipends from students who bought hostel space and as for hot plate, open bath and shot-put, this is and old tradition that can only be controlled but can't be completely eradicated.

I registered for my NIN in 2013. Got my NIN same day. The same NIN i used for linking to my mobile phone number

NIN registration has been on since 2012. Anyone who hasn't registered has no excuse.

Even the time i registered, Lord knows i was very very busy. I used my work break to register.

So no excuse. This has been on for over 8 years. Anyone who hasn't registered should not blame government. Time was there.

The problem with Nigerians is that you people like leavingthings till last minute.

Like BVN. Government gave one year. I registered in June that year. There were just two of us in the bank registering that day. That is how it was till December when everyone else suddenly remembered that they had to register and banks got crowded.

I was guilty of all this during my days on campus
