It isn't. I qork in Apapa and I drive above the rail every day to work. A new route was created for us so as to avoid driving on the rail.

At least I still drove through Gaskiya road en route Ijora over the weekend I saw the newly laid tracks and the old one as well. Reason why it's the best news is because of the effect it would have on the economy of the country if the economic czars and economic saboteurs of Apapa don't do the usual by not allowing railways function properly again.

it's a port environment, this is the cargo side still under construction.

The passenger stations on the other hand should be properly landscaped- with well laid green lawns- would be highly disappointed if they don't keep it clean- Moniya for example is very dusty at present

With the level of congestion at the Apapa port, and the delay in the movement of containers from there, a dual or triple rail lines should have been constructed, instead of the single line, for easy and faster movement. All the same, it is a welcome move!

But common sense would have preferred the FG to do the needfuls: allow other functional sea/dry ports nationwide, with more channels of movements from them.
