Wasted pipeline project that will not go beyond Buhari presidency. Religion in Buhari speaks loud. The SE and SS are underdeveloped but Buhari wants to pipe gas from the SE and SS to develop other places. What an affront.

Akuruoulo:I have often viewed that Moroccan king as one of the partners, along with the one in the rock, in this bloodshed rulership. The terrain between northern Nigeria and Morocco is littered with warlords and janjjaweed militias. International sport events like Paris - Dakar rally were uprooted from Africa because the militants started attacking the drivers and crew. But the one who has not secured his hometown is going to pass a pipeline through the most insecure corridor in Africa. Yay! |

Rugaria:You do realize that most countries in the west will stop using petrol by 2050,the only option left is gas export and to transport gas by ships is expensive.Pipeline is the most cost effective way to move a huge quantity of gas.India is our major petroleum market and they are aggressively searching for petrol, this pipeline is a lifeline to the economic survival of Nigeria. |

Ibrahimmrfish:Tell me more kontriman, I am from Imo state! How does Nigerias survival benefit me under a Buhari who has categorised me as an irrelevant 5% and has gone along for 5 years to treat me so..? How can he be milking the resources of the 5% people while treating them with so much disgust and disdain and you all kept quiet in this very frightening country!? |

What has become of previous partnerships? How many of these industries built by foreign bodies benefit the people directly? |

Rugaria:Hehehehehe ![]() Bros, it’s only those naive ones who still believe in this country and its ‘capacity’ to be fair and balanced to all regions/ethnicities that will be shocked at this type of news! Igbos, whose gas the bigot wants to carry to Morocco, are yet to see any life-changing tangible benefits from what God blessed them with, yet before their very eyes they’re seeing the laying of pipes to take said gas to far off places like Kogi, Kano, and now Morocco! This couldn’t happen anywhere else but Nigeria! |
