A popular Abuja-based disk jockey, DJ Tunice, has died, Igbere TV reports.

DJ Tunice is said to have died on Monday night, February 1 after suffering a domestic accident.

According to his close friends, the deceased was mopping the floor in his apartment when he slipped and hit his head on the ground. He was rushed to different hospitals but was allegedly rejected until he died.

His friends have taken to social media to express shock at his demise. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.

A friend wrote;

“This is one of the hardest farewells I will ever write in this life because I saw you on Friday and we were talking about the “what nexts”.

“Saw messages in the deejay pool that you were pronounced dead then alive and later, you had passed on. You fought for life. You fought to live.

“The system failed you. The government failed you. The three hospitals you were taken to prior failed you.
I pray the lord grants your family the strength to bear this.

"Sleep well my fighting partner. Sleep well @dj_tunice.”

Remind of a time last year when I woke up in the morning at just about the time of posting this comment to go have my bath ( i live alone at that time ) I slip and fell hard thereby knocking down the toilet water tank and breaking part of the toilet seat.

I regain consciousness to see everything shattered around me while laying on the floor. I couldn't remember the moment I fell or how long I lost consciousness.
So till this day when I think about it I believe God brought me back from the dead.

So sorry. RIP

There are certain tiles that shouldn't be put in strategic parts of a house. Many people have died and others injured from those killer tiles.

I once slipped in a non-spacious bathroom while trying to through my flood-drain which got blocked by debris.

I sustained an injury to my deltoid muscle leaving a big scar. I recently removed the scar. Till date, I can't point out the bathroom object that gave me the scar.
I could have died if I struck my head on the toilet bowl or any other thing.

Life is just funny. In deed, we are exposed to over a thousand ways to die daily. The simplest activity we do, presents a degree of risk to life.

What a painful way to die. When I was a kid, my parents kept warning me about playing around inside the house because of the cemented floors. I never took them serious until one day I slipped in the kitchen and hit my head on the ground. The experience is something I can not explain, I literally blanked out. That I did not die that day was a miracle.

So many ways to go back to our creator.
May God rest his soul.
I doubt the veracity of him been rejected by many hospitals.
Victims of such domestic accidents usually come to the hospital as 'brought in dead' (BID) and friends and relatives are usually in denial of the reality as they are likely to reject the diagnosis and trying another hospital. Sometimes they try more than 3 hospitals until they come to term with the reality.
Although that is not a disclaimer that I don't have werey as some colleagues.
