Hello Testimonytime,

In this kind of situation, several factors come to mind:

• How much is your tuition
• Is your spouse level of establishment good
• How steady/reliable is your spouse's source of funds
• What is your family composition
• What is the length of the program
• Minus tuition and LE, how much will be sitting in your spouse's BA
• Will you still be earning why studying and is there a demonstrative evidence

The aforementioned is just a rhetorical question and if it can be adequately answered, you may only worry little and hope

Hello Esmeob,

Go ahead with your study permit application. You can always renew your passport from within Canada. Besides, you still have about 16 months to its expiry.

Best of Luck

Sir,

I have just been offered admission, please what's the next step to be taken?

Why not do your MEDICALS that might trigger your Application as for the NSE thingy I don't think is compulsory if you gave a genuine reasons as to why you can't get it fine some didn't submit and their application was processed and approved self but if you feel the need to now then it's fine but try book for Medicals and do it someone here shared of how he had passed his eligibility and didn't know it's medicals that was delaying his application only for him to order his notes and saw it

You are not alone in this, I made my application on the 27th of September 2020, NSE request on the 13th of Nov, request submitted on the 20th of November. Another request for recommendation letter form my work place on the 14th of January, requested submitted on the 15th of January and till date no response.
This has been the longest wait of my life honestly, I hope it ends in praise

my own suggestion is why not just get the bank statements and the ielts, you see one thing about this stuff. If you had just done it, you won't be complaining. Just get it and submit.

Date of submission has exceeded.....

Will you get this message for iom normally?

I guess it’s the new normal because I got the message too, if there were to be issues, they would have referred for more test not hand everything over to visa officer that will not bother to communicate personally.

Good evening everyone. Dec 19 applicant. Didn't submit nse requirements.
I submitted my upfront medical result yesternight through mail (nairobi precisely), webform wasnt accessible.
Opened my profile now and it changed to submitted/profile updated.
Plus my medical has been updated to pass. Thanks just wanted to let us know.

It will end in praises. Amen

Please, I need help so urgently.

I have very limited time to submit my online visa application but all the ATM cards to do the payment are being declined. One of the cards (GTbank) said the reason for the declining is that $235CAD exceeds the limit of $100 web-based transaction daily limit.

@Everyone: Please, help me with suggestions on how to make this online visa application payment.

Thanks,

Greetings! Pls I need updated information about PGC, been following this thread for a while and most people think going for a PGC isn’t a sure route to getting a study visa in Canada ... I’ve also been finding it difficult to choose correlating course(studied masscom 2.2) in cape Breton( heard because it’s a small town my chances are high) my question is should I go for other courses not relating to what I studied during undergrad... pls help out with updated info.. thanks in advance

Please, for those that applied to Memorial, how did you submit your waec and ielts? Was it through the issuing bodies or you sent it through email?

Thanks

Your application has been approved? Congrats

I remember how your ielts result stressed you, kindly share your timeline for the rest of us

As for the FIRS job for me it’s not enough to make one remain in this country after the hurdle to get Canadian study visa. I for one have a good job here in Nigeria and I know so many top players in the oil industry who are also in this struggle to relocate. In the end the decision is up to you

Well, I speak with optimism and hope when I say the visa dey my hand, I actually got invitation for medicals.
I will certainly give update and timeline.
The IELTS matter really gave me sleepless nights but God interverned just as HE will show up for everyone of us on this platform.
Thanks for the suggestions

This is my first post. Forgive me if it lands in the wrong place. Please I have a question to ask the gurus in d house, where do I request for authorisation for my 4 years old child who is an American citizen to follow me and travel to Canada without any issue wirh this Covid travel restrictions. I did not mention in my application that I will travel with any of the children.
Is there anyone who travelled with a child who is an American citizen successfully without notifying IRCC? Gurus please advice .

Also someone asked something about eligibility - in my case , eligibility started the day I received my passport back meaning that I got BVL, PPR without any change to my profile. No eligibility review, no background check, no medical pass, only additional document. Everything started the date I got LOI which is the final letter . My medical is still not updated till today’ despite the fact that I have my visa issued and passport . I applied 22 October and got PPR on 18 Jan. I submitted NSE documents ( my bank doesn’t issue mybankstatement so I submitted ordinary statement and bank reference letter ) Jan 4th . I think we should not bother so much about what our profile looks like . There seems not to be a hard and fast rule. Just relax and pray . All those waiting will celebrate. Thanks

I have not tried Access bank card. Is there hope in that? If yes, did you use it recently for same purpose?

Thanks for your concern. Your kind response will be much appreciated.

Hello VObalogun,

First thing to do, cross examine the LOA in order to adopt your writing style. If its obviously mentioned the admission is for Nursing. You should build your study interest to Nursing but briefly hover around the prerequisite study. If the LOA obviously states Science, then build your highlights around it.

Write in a way that you don't make it a separate study, how it blend together. Don't just write, ensure you are close to the program webpage and have studied the LOA.

Best of Luck

Thank you

They already accept WAEC result together with scratch cards
As for the English proficiency exam, it has to be sent directly from the testing body
