No just mind my good man, Elunico. Aina in the same bracket with Nwakali is an absolute faux pas. A crime that I will even join hands with Komekn in bringing to book. grin (Just this one time. But we still disagree on Nwakali's potential. That is a different discussion).

And okay, I get you. I love how you do not deny the fact that you have always rated and preferred Aina to Zaidu. Because I have observed it for a good while and yes, you have a right to have preferences. I love how you admit your Aina-bias. wink grin

But I can only hope that you not rating Zaidu as much as you do Aina won't stop you from seeing how good a player he keeps proving himself to be. Lad has become practically a main stay in the Porto XI. You don't do that by putting in mediocre showings. You do that by putting in between very good & top class showings consistently and Zaidu has ticked that box.

And my post on market Value was only to show us one side of a picture. The progress made by our lads in terms of their ratings in the financial realm of football with focus on Zaidu especially.

But if you saw/read my other post made in reply to one of Chrisooblog's posts (to you), I addressed this market value thing clearly and established that starting for the NT is not really a matter of Market value. I used Portugal as an example.

And yes, in the end, Rohr calls the shots and picks the XI and subs. No matter how many times I shout the name of Stephen Bitok for instance for the LB role... That guy is not getting a call up anytime soon. It's all on Rohr to pick the squad no matter what we say here. But it is still very much in place for you as an analyst to have your own preference as a long time follower and observer of the game. Ebuehi and Aina as our fullbacks is also not a bad combo and that is your preference and you have a reason for it. So long as it can be analytically and statistically backed, I have no issues with it at all.

In the end, I call for more balance to our views. I like and rate Aina too but I also like and rate Zaidu. And you absolutely prefer Aina over Zaidu. No problem.

In the end, I just hope our preferences for certain players doesn't make us hesistant in acknowledging the quality of another NOT on our "preference list".
That's all Sir Kog.

Kog45:
Yes cos I rate him highly and mind you I don't rate Zaidu but with what I saw of him recently the guy would enter Fulham starting eleven with ease and playing for Porto is a plus for him.

I mentioned Aina internationally, just imagine someone putting Aina on the same page with Nwakili.

My point is simple if one doesn't rate a player just say it.I will never rubbish any player just cos I don't rate him.

Doctor with your post on their market value it should be Aina and Zaidu SE fullbacks but my personal opinion I prefer Ebuehi and Aina.

Rohr even preferred Akpogunma ahead of Ebuehi and Aina so my opinion doesn't count.

The funny thing is that none of these strikers of these strikers have gotten up to 10 goals in their respective leagues and you want to challenge for world stage grin

grin grin grin grin grin
Name countries that have multiple players with 10 goals?

U always make dull comments and run away when facts are come out. Is Onuachu not fighting for the golden boot in Europe? Apart from KC and Denis every other player I named should score 10 goals this season.

England: KC 1
Germany: Awoniyi 5 & Denis 1
France: Moffi 6
Italy: Osimhen 2 and Simi 7

Again name the country with these many strikers. All u people know how to do is condemn what somebody says. Go and do your research and let's have a real debate.

Josh Maja finally unveiled by Fulham FC.

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m):
Even if West Brom does not survive the drop. I just hope Fulham somehow survives. Brighton and Burnley aren't making things easy mehn. See them picking up wins over Liverpool in recent games away from home sef.

Fulham gotta step things up nice and fast if they wanna push one of Burnley, Brighton or Newcastle below them.

Would love to see Aina, Lookman, Tosin, Maja in the EPL next season. And yes... Not forgetting the fifth lad, Onomah.

Time will tell shaa.

Former Arsenal midfielder Kelechi Nwakali was unveiled by AD Alcorcón on Thursday following his transfer to the Spanish Segunda Division club a day before the window closed for business.

The Nigeria U23 international has been loaned out by SD Huesca for the remainder of the 2020-2021 season.

Nwakali found game time difficult to come by at the La Liga club, making only one start in the division and subbed in in four games, totaling 138 minutes in the current season.

The 2015 U17 World Cup winner highlighted his key attributes during his unveiling and believes he can help AD Alcorcón improve their position in the table.

"I am a box-to-box midfielder who can support the attack and then whenever we lose the ball I am always in a good position to defend for the team," Nwakali stated.

"I know I'm a player who loves to keep the ball, and I can pass the ball very well, also good in attacking but I believe we need to improve in defending as a team.

"With my qualities I believe joining the team we can achieve something great."

Nwakali has been allocated the number 15 kit by AD Alcorcón and could make his debut for his new employer when they travel to Ponferradina on Monday, February 8.

Basco rates Onuachu highly. I remember him tackling me seriously when I criticized Paul's performance in last year's friendly against Algeria so I don't think he omitted him for any deceptive reason.

How can you list Aina with K.Nwakali?? See, I still believe in Nwakali and all that. Lad is still a good player that just needs gametime but in no universe will I class Aina in the same category with Nwakali.

One is a starter for an EPL side and has already seen Afcon action with the Super Eagles winning Bronze in the process. But Nwakali.... The closest he has gotten to playing for the Super Eagles was in a game vs Liberia that wasn't even counted.

Same thing with Semi Ajayi. Come on. Ajayi may not have been so awesome defensively but at least he's been a threat aerially on the offense.
Aina and Ajayi start for EPL sides. Let's ignore the fact that come May, they may not be in the EPL but for now they remain EPL starters.

Abeg. No dey call a still-trying-to-find-his-feet Nwakali in same sentence as Aina and Ajayi Biko!!!! angry
Understand me please, young man.

I'm not comparing their career progression, no, that wasn't my context. My point was targeted at how these 3 players mentioned, when on the pitch can't guarantee you full concentration, there's this aura of non-challance about their style. They all have this in common.
