We are aware. It is the same jihadi vision of Boko Haram. The vision is terror, more terror, cash in, more arms, invest in even more arms, then unleash more terror until the infidels submit or be killed. |

Self deception is worst form of deception... Northern Nigeria and Abuja will soon become an official warzone if care is not taken. All southerners living in the North should read in-between the lines now before this grace period will expire. A world they say is enough for the wise. |

Does the North ever get tired of speaking from both sides of their mouth? They say the nation cannot partake in their gold because of bandits. Now they say they’re no longer bandits but insurgents in need of education & help from the FG! How can someone who is in control of Zamfara gold (the Governor admitted that much) be in need of help from the Federal govt? Which education did he tell you he is looking for when he has so much wealth in gold under his control? Don’t these people ever get tired of lying? |

This is what u have when u give birth to many number of children that even you the father u don't know them any more. Have u been to North? Did u see the number of almajiris? When those children has grown up and they can't do almajir any more what do u think they start doing? Because no education, no handwork they don't have anything to fetch them money in any means such people will happily take arm to kill people if they no that they will get #20 from their. I implore the Northern elders to stand up to challenges and start controlling their birth rate if not the issue of insecurity will never end in the North. |

Only a blind man won't see that these guys are trying to seek amnesty just like the Niger Delta Millitants then. The main issue is, what is the reason for their agitation? |

The Yansakai were formed as vigalante because of the constant attacks, robbing & killings by the Fulani. Now the bandit Fulani are claiming to be insurgents because they are resisted from their criminality? |

Chai Fulani's are cleverly clever Intact Fulani's are too intelligent for Nigerians So nobody is talking about arresting the cleric anymore what they are interested is what he said "WHAT HE SAW IS INSURGENCY NOT BANDITRY" which you all already know from the picture and the history and mode of operations of the so called BANDITS over the years. But since he came back from visiting them, took picture with them and telling us what we want to hear....then let's forget how he get to meet the commander and feel comfortable in their midst and discuss what he supposedly found out be visiting them which" THEY ARE INSURGENCE NOT BANDITRY " FULANIS ARE TOOOOOO CLEVER FOR NIGERIANS |

Who are these insurgents? Are they citizens of the state or outsiders? How and why did they suddenly turned bad if they had been living in the state for long? |

ijaw1stson:The problem started with granting militants in the ND presidential pardon and giving them billions. Now other regions are letting govt know that they too also have militants and terrorists |

seunmsg:The right question to ask is; Why are bandits more concerned with Yansakai attacks (a local Hausa vigilante group) than that of the military? Bandits never mentioned their concerns or fear for the military. Indicating that the army never posed a threat to them contrary to what we were meant to believe by the media. This revelation confirms that the Buhari regime condoles Fulani terrorism just like in the case of the herdsmen. |

These people are just outrightly insane! The imam should be more concerned about the 'innocent' lives they are taking, but hes more concerned about them being killed ![]() |

So the man is recommending dialogue to people he believes are insurgents. Meanwhile, the government is killing and arresting peaceful protesters! WHAT IS WRONG WITH US?!!!! |
| Re: sheikh Gummi: What I Saw In Zamfara Is Insurgency Not Banditry by bjdon: 8:12am On Feb 05, 2021 |
If dialogue can bring genuine peace then it should be encouraged. No society can develop without peace. While the dialogue is ongoing in the North, we in the South must urgently ramp up our defence. Across the South we must start to coordinate local defence units. The Army and police can no longer be realied on, so we must take on the task of defending our land and lives. Our thinking now needs to be based on the maxim of 'Hope for peace, ready for war' |

Exactly what I discerned from his (Gumi) statement. He is trying to create a justifiable cause to make them eligible for amnesty. Martini101: |

bjdon:Really? USA does not negotiate with terrorist and they are enjoying peace in their country; Once you start negotiating, rogue groups will spring up to eat national cake... It all started from ND militants and look where it has landed us. If we had government void of corruption and military free from nepotism and bribery.... Non of these rogues group would have audacity to talk about dialogue after killing thousands of innocent lives |
