The reality is that Kelechi is an extreme confidence player and
inconsistent. It is not just his goal-scoring, but his touch and effort.
When he is confident, the touches are silky, he picks passes like a
#10, and closes down/fights to hold up the ball really well. The
problem is that, when he is off-form, it is not only that he misses some
chances, but his touch gets bouncy, he becomes static, and doesn't
work for the team. Maybe he just needs to go to a club where he more
valued as a starter and just gets to play through troubles. At Leicester,
the second his confidence leaves him, the boy is dropped to the bench
and the cycle repeats. Copied |

maidaboi:Iheanacho should go to a club like weeder Bremen and people will see he can be better than Vardy. In fact his style of play is different from Vardy anyway. But the young man only cares about money and not any record. I'm tired. Leicester should force him to leave. He can try leeds under bielsa who likes technical football but a typical Nigerian footballer only cares about money. If he does not leave this summer he will remain mediocre all his career as I believe he lacks ambition |

At bolded.... I hope you know you are exaggerating because Nigeria actually will make Top 10 in the world when it comes to Strikers Depth. Perhaps Basco took it a little too far saying Top 5 in terms of depth at the Striker/CF position and but he wasn't all that off point. For Africa, no other nation comes close. Nigeria is easily #1 in Africa. No nation in Asia (AFC) or Oceania (OFC) comes close. Same as in the whole of Concacaf. The only teams with more depth than Nigeria come from Conmebol and UEFA and they won't be more than 9 at worst. If anyone wants proof, give me time and I will drop the comparative lists. Now this doesn't mean we are World class. Nope. We aren't. This is just about the #9 role. And truly we have depth in this role. elyte89: |

TheGoodJoe:I have seen some teams start time wasting at the first minutes of a match. Some coaches are just so useless. It is much better this season though. As for playing surface, the maintenance to me is the real problem. They can build 10 stadiums today but they will all run down after a while. |

TheSuperNerd:Lukaku - 14 Mertens - 4 Benteke - 3 That has already surpassed the 20 gotten from all the Nigerian strikers in the top 5 leagues ![]() Edit Zapata is Colombian |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 9:54am On Feb 05, 2021 |
You ignored the question because it destroys the sense you think you are making. Why limiting it to the top 5 leagues? Is football only played in the Top 5 leagues? Well Onuachu on 22 is topping both Lukaku and Zapata in the European Golden Shoe rankings. I guess that makes both Lukaku and Zapata, ballboys, compared to Lord Onuachu. ![]() Subzero047: |

Also, Lukaku is Belgian. Zapata is Colombian. Why marrying both together? ![]() Zapata is on 8. Simy is on 7. Same Serie A. And Simy isn't even in Nigeria's top 3 striker options. But Zapata is practically Colombia's Go-to man right now. How funny. Subzero047: |

You are still not making sense. If there is no quality in Belgium, then why is it counted in the European Golden Shoe rankings? Please tell me why it is 1.5 compared to most other leagues outside the Top 5 leagues that have 1.0 as their impact goal factors? And why won't I bring up Onuachu? You want to exclude him because his stats this season floors any striker you will bring up apart from Lewandoski not so? Very funny. No please, if you want to have this argument, then exclude nothing. Don't take the evasive analysis route. That's so lame. You say quality strikers don't have just 1 or 2 goals. Then I bring up Hazard's stats from this season asking if he is still a quality winger, but you flee from the question. Osimhen was a beast in Ligue 1 last season. This season, he is on 2 goals mostly because of Injury and Covid. Is he also not a quality striker?? Mister, your argument is simply weak from all angles. Subzero047: |

BascoVanVeli:The quality of grass used, the drainage system and regular maintenance of the pitch should be first priority if we are to play good football. With a good pitch, a poor side trying to waste time can be destroyed with high pressing. As soon as they conceded early, they can not waste time again. Good pitches is key to help good playing sides have advantage to win. |

TheSuperNerd:I am simply asking you, FOCUS ON QUALITY, I don't have time to research on Czech, Slovakia and Russian leagues and it would foolish to compare it to goals in the premier league and other top 5 leagues Why are you uncomfortable when the area of concentration is limited, because you have only Onuachu even if your point stands it doesn't put anything about our striker depth, Nigerian league the top 10 scorers are Nigerian why not add them to your list of strikers ![]() |

Still fleeing from questions that burst his bubbles. In the presence of Osimhen, Onuachu, and even an Iheanacho. Please tell me Simy got a chance to be Number 1 striker. Tell me his 7 goals in serie A this season makes him better than Osimhen. Please tell me. ![]() Subzero047: |

And I telling you that Quality is not limited to just the Top 5 leagues. We have quality in Portugal as well. Belgium. Holland. Even Norway has a striker playing for Slavia Prague dammit! Why are you so fidgety and scared when the area of concentration is expanded and rightfully so to look at the picture of quality much more clearly? Why? Well I know... It's because Onuachu is outscoring every striker you have in mind to troll the Nigerian strikers' club. You have no one else to top Onuachu apart from the great Lewandoski. Onuachu being second in the Golden Shoe rankings right now makes you wanna avoid going outside the top 5 leagues so desperately. Hahahahaha... ![]() Subzero047: |
