If the government was serious central government and Lagos State government was serious what they should have done at first this would have allowed the Farmers to produce a lot of rice when there is sufficient quantity of rice then you build the rice Mills now I don't think they have engaged any farmer to produce rice yet and the meal is on ground rusting away and paying salaries you can see the project is not a serious attempt
Farmers have been engaged, farm lands have been acquired in Kebbi , Ogun and Oyo the Rice mill project started because LAKE rice (Lagos , Kebbi ) had more paddy of rice havested than the milling capacity back then during Ambodes term

The chaff from the mill is a food and i can see water, lagos should replicate this in cattle rearing, the south should not only chase away the Fulanis, create a better alternative cattle for the North to learn from, create this for meat and milk production, let there be massive indigenes involvement,We have enough market to utilize this, middle belt should do so too

The way Nigerian carry religion for head ehn.

So I went to this billionaire Fulani house at lekki phase 1 to work and after waiting for close to two hours because according to the staffs. They don’t wake him up n even if he is awake, you have to wait till he comes down. I sha wait, I have my new face mask on and hands sterilized in the presence of the gateman . Yet they gave me theirs own customized face mask. They latter ask me to wash my hands again when the man had called for me. I know even vex I wash again and then requested for sterilizer that was when I was told he don’t accept sterilizer in his house because of the alcohol content, they said that was one of the reason I have to wash the one I put on my hand. This man wife is a catholic christian oo and the husband a strong Muslim.

Please if person use sterilizer, is it a sin in Islam? I need answer please

Will this reduce the cost of rice?

It will not bring the price of rice down the same thing with cement Nigeria is the most expensive country in Africa to buy a bag of cement y. Because when they were building the cement plant they spent a lot of money Building and buying houses abroad and using little money for the cement plant now the cement plants are paid for the property which they build abroad this is the same thing with this rice meals and government projects. The government will borrow 100 million u.s. dollar to do a project they will only spend 10 million u.s. dollar on that project and spend 90 million u.s. dollar building houses abroad next thing the 10 million u.s. dollar project has got to pay all the money back.

Very wrong Lake rice only had full capacity during the harvesting period three months after harvesting they had zero production capacity that's why the company packed up. What's the rainy season are coming to an end it is full production by February the production go to 0. Don't forget this is a government project which raise a lot of eyebrows. Do not worry it is not the first time Lagos State has done it. I remember in 1992 babangida invested massively in wheat and rice I do not think anything came out of it. Obasanjo invested massively when he was president in cassava production and rice production I don't know what happened to the Investment which they put all over Nigeria. One think with we Nigeria's we are illiterate we can never learn there is no government project which is profitable or which shall make profit in Nigeria the people keep on dreaming

What happened to Elijah Steel plant where they had to transport the steel Billets 300 kilometres away. What happened to a lot of the refineries which were not even designed to refine Nigerian crude oil. It is only an illiterate which does the same thing I want a different results. Anything government I do not have faith in it if the government could perform Lagos will not be 23 city in Africa to live in. You forgot night till which was buying equipment which did not even work

Do not forget this is Nigeria they do not care about the rice plant all they care about is the money which they have collected and borrowed to buy houses abroad. Imagine you borrow money and you use 70% of the money to buy houses outside the country and expect 30% of the project to pay the money back
