If I get your write-up, you are blaming Yoruba for

Personally I don't vote for Jonathan and still don't regret it as during his tenure Nigeria witness lots of economy meltdown, and lots of more.... and that's why people voted him out, so why writing beautiful nonsense? Or are you saying he was a good man as I don't really get your point, and why you wrote this in the first place.

That's untrue. When Jonathan left power, GDP growth was 6% even though oil prices fell to 45 dollar per barrel. However, when Buhari became president, GDP growth plummeted to below 3% and has never risen past that figure. There was no economic meltdown during Jonathan's era.

Let's reverse this case, let's assume southerners are killing northerners in the north, then we issue a statement telling the kano state govt to resign. How does it sound

What an effrontery angry

“We, therefore, call on the governor to resign his position since it appears he is not capable of functioning in that capacity. If he fails to resign, the Federal Government should withdraw his security apparatus.”

Arewa in Yoruba language means beauty

You are not correct. Yoruba is a polytonic language:

YORUBA >> ENGLISH
Arẹwà >> Beautiful
Arèwa or Àríwá >> North

The whole of Arewa Fulani and Miyetti Allah people are scared of just one man, Sunday Igboho.

They can't face him alone hence they want the police and federal government to fight for them.

Foolish people!

Jonathan was voted out because of ineptitude. He became a follower rather than the leader! Unfortunately our leaders replaced Jonathan with far worse option. Guess they were myopic.

Ineptitude was the official reason your leaders probably gave you but bigotry was the real reason for their action.

Hate made them go for a man they knew was grossly incompetent.

Hope they could corner the Niger Delta's oil blocs to the detriment of the peoples of the Niger Delta was additional motivation.

The Fulani false promise that Osibanjo would be Nigeria's president except in name further strengthened their resolve to be greedy.

On the economic front Jonathan did better than Obasanjo. This was despite the hostile attitude of the Yoruba elite and their Fulani partners.

Jonathan's second tenure like his first tenure would have favoured the greedy and ungrateful Yoruba elite more than the Ijaw.

In retrospect I thank God he lost, not because Jonathan was not good for Nigeria but because he would have gone out of his way to please the major political blocs.

God will use Buhari to destroy all the evil economic empires all these ingrates built.

Your submission is faulty. We were all witness to Jonathan's adminstration. It was the architect of its own downfall. Please find out about last minute effort made by oritsejafor to save the administration which was destroyed by Jonathan himself. I must say Jonathan is too lilly livered for a country like Nigeria regardless of his good character and perhaps intentions.

Nigeria got the Buhari it deserved and it will probably get another Northerner it deserves in 2023.

Your Yoruba leaders are a bunch of hypocritical opportunists with no interest in Nigeria's future!

No, you can't say you have issues with Jonathan and field Buhari. That's the height of stupidity, recklessness and selfishness.

I am glad most of them didn't gain from their racket.

From your comments its obvious where your bias lies. For as long as we tow tribal sentiments Nigeria is going no where. One more thing, buhari is not Yoruba if you get my drift.

Buhari is a Yoruba Trojan horse! You can't eat your cake and have it.

If ethnic interest was not the motivation Yoruba would never have supported Buhari.

Fulani and Yoruba have destroyed Nigeria with their ethnic extremism.

In 2015, the Yorubas had 2 options:
(1). To vote for Goodluck Jonathan
(2). To vote for Muhammad Buhari.
They chose the latter. Their reason was because GEJ was from a minority group in the South South of the country. They also accused GEJ of running an omo-ibo government & they protested against his gov. using the hashtag #OccupyNigeria with all their politicians, religious leaders, obas, entertainers, wole soyinka etc.
6 years down the line Nigeria has been littered with Fulani terrorists from Chad, Mali, Niger republic especially in the South West killing their men, raping their wives & claiming their ancestral lands.
Where are the #OccupyNigeria folks? Where is Tinubu? where is Tunde Bakare? where is wole soyinka? where is Jide Kosoko? where is that useless Oba who threatened people to vote for Buhari or be thrown into the lagoon?
The day we Nigerians stop choosing our leaders based on tribal and religious sentiments is the day we'll start experiencing a better Nigeria.
Chai!!!
As well as the day we develop enough manners to stop calling others "useless "

You seem to have a very short memory of things that happened just few years back or rather you are just been parochial and mischievous in your evaluation and reasoning.

Let me remind you or bring your brain to backward functionality. We didn't vote against GEJ based on what you just highlighted. PMB was voted for cos GEJ was in perpetual limbo of inefficiency and acute leadership disorientation.

I guess your brain can't fathom and decipher those grammars. GEJ would have been one of the greatest and loved president Nigeria ever had. He had his time and was so lucky cos the leadership banner was handed over to him on a platter of gold, no sweat.

That fortunate grace God gave him didn't help him to wake up from the slumber of here I am and the president of a whole biggest black nation.

GEJ made us to vote for disaster PMB, GEJ gave us no better alternative. He was so sluggish and confused throughout his stay in power.....he seems to be afraid to use his leadership power to effect things to be done. He was sympathetic to Northern leaders which anyway wasn't bad if at all he's sensible and smart in doing that.....

GEJ that claimed he went to school without shoe and knows what pains and poverty is now became president of the elites alone. Politicians and cronies started moving money in foreign currency all over the country and the world at large, some even abadoned large chunk of money at the airport's, etc......I don't need to say more if your brain is still much alive and functioning.

GEJ was a confused president and a drunk while PMB was a Disaster.....I blame nobody but Nigeria stupid constitution that never give a good descriptive way to remove an existing president except the house of assembly does which is highly impossible cos most of the house of assembly people are rubber stamp to be use by the president to serve his pleasure....

My brother, blame me not and I can't blame you either.... in retrospect of Nigeria as a country, we have been beclouded by Bandits as presidents ever since the inception of this unholy alliance call Nigeria. I feel your pain and the distasteful manners things are going right now. Happy weekend
